And yes, every preview/review I've seen states that these are large and heavy. And that's okay by me. I like to have sets of different varieties. Some are more mobile. These will be for sitting and rocking out.
You're right - what I needed were light, portable headphones, so that bothers me a bit. I already had sit-at-home headphones (not very good ones, though)
These are neither heavy or large, but I only say that in comparison to my Audeze LCD-X's. I find them easy to walk around with, and who cares if they are bigger looking.
I agree with almost everything but I had the opposite experience with wearing them and I’m smaller too 5’8”. For me they wear soooooo comfortable when compared w say beats. And the sound is 100% extraordinary. Noise cancellation on point
I don't have any experience with beats, but I've heard some people complain about the fit. I'm curious, do they strangle you when you put them around your neck? Haha
@@ArtMer I don’t really do that w headphones tbh - any brand. What impressed me was hearing elements of songs I’ve never heard before while using Heavys
That happened to me as well. They ARE great-sounding headphones, and that pisses me ever more (I'm still trying to get used to them, but can't wear them for too long)
The sound is superb. But not every occasion needs big cans. I wanted to use them mainly for trips and walking around, but I guess they can be my "home listening" headphones lml
To get the full sound quality from them, run them from a add or phone, iPad. Direct plug usb c to usb c, don’t turn them on, they will power up in a more natural mode, and the sound is 10 fold better.
Mine arrive with a case this morning, i can't wait. These will be a great addition to my other 12 over the ear headphones in my arsenal. Great video. Good work.
Well this review is from my experience, I'm really glad you love 'em :) I was looking for headphones that sounded great and weren't that big, and I got the first part of my request haha
I read that some people are having this issue, nothing wrong with you. That really sucks, dude. On Android they sound pretty loud. Someone recommended the IOS app "Volume Booster - Sound Booster". It has a paid option, but it only removes ads. Let me know if that works for ya!
I've also read that turning Dolby Atmos off on your iPhone makes them sound louder. I don't have an iPhone so I don't know if this works or how to do that... good luck
Yeah, the HD600s are $300. These should be compared to the HD450BTs (someone should make a video comparison). I just found about EQ apps and I agree, less bass and more treble make a big difference.
I cancelled my order after almost a year of lies and promises to deliver, and I'm glad I did. It's September 10, 2023 as of this post, LONG after the promised shipping of more than 10,000 units. So far, only a scant few reviews. Over HALF of the reviews are totally unfavorable toward the sound. There is no consensus that they are actually good, especially from non-kickstarter customers. "They sound like there is a block of foam between the headphones and my ears" was the first unfavorable review I read. "They sound like ass" was another. So as of this post, there is not enough evidence that they are any good, just investors and shills talking them up.
I can't say they're bad, since I've only had a few "big" headphones in my life, and to be honest, the Heavys sound is fuller than my previous ones (maybe because they were less expensive). I'm still trying to get used to them but I can't last more than half an hour, too cumbersome. I have seen several good reviews and they mostly say they're good compared to other headphones at the early bird price ($150) range, but not compared to others in the full price ($250) range.

just got mine... love them!
they're HEAVYS, not LITTLES.

So it sounds better when charged like that instead of a usb-c to usb-a? What's the science behind that?
The weight is NOT 255g, they’re actually 410g. Weigh them and see, the specs on them from Heavys are wrong.
I KNEW IT! Shouldn't have trusted their web page. Thanks for the info!
That's a about a solid pound!! Wow!!

Just got this cans today and so disappointed at least being used with iPhone !
Volume IS WAY TOO LOW !!
Am I doing something wrong ?

Out of box the sound is terrible. All youve gotta do is take aome bass out and add treble. They are no Sennheiser HD600s.

It sounds like you are still just trying to convince yourself that cancelling was a good idea. You may end up buying these after all.

I would like to cancel, the same thing is happening to me, it's already going to the year and I don't get them.
@@bjrnsjohnsen1278 no way. The verdict is in.
Lucky I have a humongo Head 😂
Hahaha then these headphones were made for you!
