Related to his point about boundaries being good for the relationship, remember that deep down, the other person WANTS you to set boundaries. The other person wants to be able to respect you, but that's simply not possible if a man doesn't set boundaries. The two ways to fail are 1) not setting any boundaries and 2) being emotionally reactive when we do, because we feel resentful or taken advantage of.

Regarding your first questions, I think you just have to notice what you prefer in relationships over time, and which things are important for you. If you hated some thing that happened in your past relationships, then set a boundary to prevent that in your future relationships.

Man... Todd has aged so much in just a few years. He went from being a pretty good looking guy who was in decent shape to being an overweight guy with terrible skin, lots of grey hair and massive bags under his eyes. I don't know what he did to accelerate his aging so much so quickly but wow. If he was any other guy, not a single hot girl he approached would give him the time of day. They'd laugh at him, say he looks like death and walk away. Of course the ridiculous and depressing thing is he still does WAY better with women than I do even though I look 10 years younger, have 6 pack abs, flawless skin and a physique like Thor, even though he and I are about the same age.
