Borders of the display are thicker than s20fe and especially s21fe, it is SUCH a shame. They just used A54 and made it aluminium...
With another processer and camera
Exactly! I don't like these bezel compared to s21 fe
The S21FE also was between the plus and the regular model when it comes to display size and weight. Now the 23FE is just like a cheap version of the plus model or a pimped version of the A54. Still looking forward to upgrade but there's just no phone on the market which fits to my preferences :(
S21 fe also was dynamic ambled vs super amoled
Bezels don't matter that's such a dumb thing to care about
This phone is basically the A54 with a beefed up processor and camera.
Yeah😂
You can say that about almost every phone, like A34, etc.
Ohh, nice...so the build quality doesn't matter anymore. Plastic and Aluminium suddenly feel exactly the same, when we want to push a narrative ofc. Or let me guess, matte glass is now a different material from, you know, "glass"?
That "beefed" up processor makes a massive world of a difference, from regular perf to every single aspect of photography. Enough with the silly semantics.
Have you seen the difference btwn the 1380 and the 8gen1 or 2200?
I guess the s23 & s23+ are basically an A54 with those same things + a slightly better display then, yeah?...works for me, what's your problem?
@@AwaksI don’t think you need to be that aggressive when making your point, but alright
And with a battery downgrade
Still on my S20 FE and the phone is still great considering I've had it for nearly 3 years now. Looks like I will only upgrade some time next year if there will be a S24 FE.
I´m in your shoes.
Ditto same
Bro my s20 fe camera broke, I could not fine replacement. Any suggestions?
Same here
But my s20 fe has only been 1yr old
In the same boat with 2yr s20fe.. I'll probably buy s23fe once they launch s24 and s23fe gets price drop
The silver ring around punch hole is a real deal breaker, phones with such ring are extremely distraction due to reflection which watching videos
That's what makes it look like a beefed up A54 instead of a toned down S23
from 177g to 209g, lol what did they add? 5000mah?
I had the S20 FE and it had the same ring. It's really not that bad, but that's just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.
I have the s20 FE now, it's not that bad. You get used to it really quickly. It's a lot better than anything Apple has now or has ever had (notch, big dynamic island).
Definitely distracting in direct sunlight but when you are in a room the ring is not visible
The S21fe has smaller bezels than this phone. And the metal ring around the selfie camera clearly it's a beefed up version of A series rather than a toned down version of S series like the S21fe.
Absolutely, i think samsung is messing with us fanz..this new fe products are disappointing
Yeah I agree s21 fe is more premium, better buy it quick before they discontinue it
Samsung made this phone as an a74 replacement, not a cheaper flagship.
those bezels are HUGE. even budget phones nowadays have much less bezels than this flagship.
This looks just like the A54,kinda wished they'd make the bezels a bit thinner.
I'm happily keeping my S21 FE (which I just got 2 months ago) thanks
I'm in the exact same boat. Have been using S21FE for two months, and no thanks, I'm not looking out to trade what I got with that phone, which is basically A54 on steroids.
@@dkursada ikr like I thought we're getting a budget S23 but instead we're getting an A54 with S22 internals, might as well name it A54 Pro/Ultra 😅 it makes our S21 FE look more sophisticated because of the thinner bezels.
No gimmicks, just the essentials. this is why i love the FE series and they lower the price. But imagine it with the latest snapdragon, it will be a flagship killer. But nonetheless thanks to samsung for bringing this. Now i tempted to buy 😂
Only fans with their head knocked out would buy this shit over s23
Yeah... almost a flagship killer, just change the processor to snapdragon and it will work out
@@worldDyingWhenIamBorn and they "upgrade" the uneven bezel for free😂😂😂😂😂😂
They could add snapdragon 8gen2 for an additional 120-160 dollars with that just buy s23 base version.
If they added snapdragon 8 gen 2 to its price right now their flahships would be trash
And it would be filled with ads lol
I dont think people understand business which is why they will never own one or run one. Why would Samsung give this phone the latest flagship processor and better bezels knowing it would cannibalize its current flagship lineup. It already made that mistake with S20 FE which absolutely destroyed the standard S20 sales 3 years ago. Smh. People in these comments watch a few videos and look at spec sheets and assume they're knowledged about a particular device, when in reality they are know nothing's pretending to be experts. 😂😂😂😂
S23 FE looks nice, I have an S20 FE since 2021, and I don't think I'll upgrade it until you launch the S24 FE or S25 FE.
A54 body, S22 (bad) processor and camera (probably), they cut the battery (4500mAh) even though it's the same size as the A54 (5000mAh). It shouldn't be named as S23 FE.
they can do better. but sad they deliberately trying to screw it up
It should be called A54 pro
@@freebodyevansacquahor A54s actually like A52s
People be looking forward to a hand warmer with bad battery life, s23 probably goes on sale close to the price of the fe
Look at those thin bezels.
Isn't the point of FE phones is getting the latest flagship soc and performance in a cheaper price range? They should've called this s22 fe instead.
the s20 FE had either Exynos 990 on their early 4G variants globally or Snapdragon 865 in their 5G variants and later 4G variants globally, while the S21 FE had the Exynos 2100 globally on their 4G variant and Snapdragon 888 on their 5G variant.
It would have made a little more sense if Samaung at least gave the S23 FE a 4G and 5G option, the 4G option could still get Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1(or better Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 instead) depending on were you live while the 5G version to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy
Im using s21 fe and believe me.. the phone is a blast.. does not dissapoint whenever I need it to use for anything... battery issue itself doesnt seem to me much cuz I hold a powerbank.. but yea the phone is a blast
My problem with it is the performance
@@ggandalff If you want performance just go with a flagship there's no cheap high end.
Or go with chinese ones they'll gladly sell you one if you don't mind built in ads and less support also the security issues.
Bezels look better on s21fe and s20fe
felt like they tried mimic the bezels as on the iphone 11 for s23 fe..LOL
Don't throw ur blind presumptions until u get the actual product in hand
@@User___005 nah bro,. its not a blind presumptions when you can literally tell by the video.. bezels looks nothing like an S series phone..
@@heyitsmejm4792 I won't come to any decision until I get the product in my hands
@@User___005🤡
I swear, the s23fe is what the a52s was nearly 3 years ago and that's why i plan to upgrade from my a52s to this one. I'm also glad that they've brought back the mint color, that's the color of my a52s and bc i don't use cases, the color is such an important tihng for me and the mint is just gorgious
Also better cameras, procesor and synce black friday comes in like a mounth,i'm gonna ged a rly nice pryce on the fe. If not,i'l just wait for the easter season.i liked the a54 but couldn't recomand to any1 over 350$ and from what i can see with this phone,i think u'l pe able to get it for roughly 400$ so hold on to your moneys. 'Till than,my a52s is still a great phone. I was planing to upgrade a bit later but the s23fe is nearly my perfect phone. It only lacks the headphone jack. I swear,i'm gonna be that guy with 2 phones 'till i completly move to wierless. I use wierless alot but having a 2nd paire of wiered headphones, just in case is soo nice
Same here. I'm planning to grab one of these to accompany my mint A52S
S23fe bezels a big no samsung is definitely pushing away their customers. In my opinion s21fe is much better.
If this phone had Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, it would've been so much better. BUT IT'S EXYNOS
it has 8 gen 1 in certain market but sadly not 8+ gen 1
Only for US.
8g1 is manufactured by Samsung as well...
@@anonymousperson5441 yeah but both of em worse
@@ellox I'm talking about 8 PLUS it's by TSMC
Well, i think its good time to upgrade from my S9 and hope that S23 FE will be my phone for the next few years :P
go for s23... worth the design and more performance than this S23 FE
Imagine buying s23 fe but telling your parents that you bought A54 😂
Yup agreed😂
Sounds like a plan
??
I'd actually do the opposite, buy the cheaper one and save the money.
Almost skipped the battery part smartly😅
It can give max 7.5 hrs of screen on time
worst decision on my life 😟
This design and build quality of s21FE reminded me of my old s7
WTF are these bezels 💀💀
This might be a good upgrade from my 3 yr old s20 FE
Yep
Insted buy s22
@@digvijaykale1705hell no.. battery is pathetic on s22. You should at least get the s23 if you want a compact phone.
For sure bro
@@justrandomthingshere being a compact phone battery life is bit low.
But for day today task and mild use like watsapp, messaging, calls and using social media it lasts for a day.
I dislike when reviewers bring up performance and say it works great or more than capable, like of course it will, it’s brand new, every phone that I’ve had even the $200 units work great initially. What about a few months or years down the line?
The phone is barely a week old, how do you expect them to give you that answer when there is no long term review
@@akanbiolayinka3431 just don’t make that statement “it’s more than capable”? Not that hard. Make that statement in a few months and a few updates later. Samsung phones fall pretty hard after a year, especially non-flagship phones.
Why the bezzels seems bulkier than s21 fe ?
It's better outside India. In India they launched it with Exynos 2200 which has a lot of heating issue. Also the bezel is not uniform and is thicker.
because most indian cant afford high end devices
Only USA models gets SD , rest all including European , Australian and whole of Asian models get Exynos
Snapdragon 8Gen1 very hot too!!
Samsung just changed the name of A70 series to S Series FE
Will be getting this as my secondary phone! Solid specs for a pretty good price. One UI is currently the best os for android phones IMO.
1.Do we have dex support?
2. Raw mode in camera?
So, basically it has worse glass than S21 FE (Gorilla 5 vs. S21 FE's Victus), it's less durable (glass on the back), it has bigger bezels than S21 FE, it's heavier and they didn't even bother to put 45W charging speed (which is still SLOW), and the only change is Snap 8 gen 2? Thanks god I bought S21 FE :)
Yeah but the battery life on the s21 FE sucks
gonna upgrade do you think i should get this or the pixel 8?
Loved the host performance 👌
😂S21 fe has less bezzel than this and looks more Premium
look like People Not buying A54 so they decide Upgrade Camer and Processor and named it S23 Fe
at this moment in november which phone should i prefer s22 or s23 fe
The screen borders look larger than the S21 FE ones. Am I wrong? (Also, I hate that they went back to the silver ring around the front camera)
It looks like a great phone. Need to get my grandma a new phone after she cracked the screen of her S9... And she loves taking pictures so this will be a great one. I was going to get her the A54 but it doesn't have wireless charging and she tends to loose her chargers
could you please tell me if this will be available in uk?
OMFG what is that bezzels??? I was hoping that was just untrue leaks...i would have to think twice about buying it cause I wanted to...
Thanks to Samsung for using aluminum and glass

05:34 The performance of the phone will improve with updates.
06:23 The Fe is a capable smartphone with a flagship experience.
You told 50MP from Fold4 so, Fold4 have cameras from S22, so same camera, same processor, less RAM then S22. They sell same phone in different body
I went from a Samsung Galaxy A12 to the Samsung galaxy s23fe, and it is such a massive upgrade! As far as im concerned, this is a flagship phone at a great price, a much better deal than the s23. I absolutely love this phone and have no complaints. Thank you Samsung for making my 1st flagship I could afford.
I'm on an a30s samsung phone soon going to upgrade it to the a54 and would love to see comparisons with s21 fe s20 fe and a54
Wait for a55
one thing I'm disappointed with is that the SD Gen1 so far is available in the US only.. but you get Exynos 2200 for International. There's some specs are only available in th US not Internationally, which is a bummer to me since I've been told it's wayy better than a54. (my current phone)
Hopefully SD Gen 1 is available Internationally too.. 😞
SD Gen 1 is available in Canada too.
is there any plus feature (like quality of life type of settings)(other than chipset and camera) from a54 5G?
Wake me up when they make a "fan" edition with storage expansion.
realmente quién o por qué necesita eso en 2023?
is that the finished product already? why are the bezels like that
Beautiful
Is the the ring around the front camera..?
This is the worst looking FE samsung ever made
Is the screen bright in direct sunlight? Had issue with S21 FE where it would dim outdoors.
it 780 nits and bump up to 856 nits whil S23 fe is now 1450 nits.
@Melodie_Info3 Thanks. It wasn't a nit problem, just some weird dimming outdoors. Instead of making it bright, it dimmed the screen.
@@MM-yp1oy adaptive brightness must
that bazzel feel like from 2015 smart phones
Hi
How is this phone compare to s23 ?
Why can't they just include the 8+ gen 1
Staying on my S20 FE Snap version until there is something interesting for me to upg. Cheers
It's Interesting you have the Exynos variant but the seeming improvements they made from last year is at least initially encouraging
Damn, the ratio screen seem like bad vs the S21FE, not sure to get that one, im gonna run S23 plus with reduce i guess
Thank you
BRO! THE BEZELS!! AGHHHHH
they could have done better with the bezels but what really bothers me is the silver line around the front camera. it doesn't look good at all in my opinion.
Mene ise buy kiya definitely ye best he
In other video's the selfie cam has no metallic ring around it. But in this video it does. Why?
Probably just wasn't visible due to lighting. I can assure you it has that stupid ring
What is that ring?
Its just a big brother of S22 that came after little brother 😁😁
Dose the front cam have auto focus..?
I might buy this phone the with the snapdragon processor
Being a samsung fansite, it is expected from them to not face any issue with the "Exynos 2200" flagship processor ! Specially when all they are testing is swiping upwards in the homescreen !!! Also, when they said that samsung didn't skip on any of the flagship features here, is there video brightness option in the advanced features menu? I bet there isn't so yeah... Sammobile is just being sammobile... Not trusted with honest samsung reviews
Can you compare it to the S22 Plus?
I have the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 512GB 12GB Ram. Does anyone think I should use this as my next phone or should I stick to my Note? I need a better camera, Snapdragon version.
im using S21FE sd888, is it a good idea to upgrade to S23FE exynos? mostly for playing genshin and shooting photos.
Both are equally awful. Exynos is hot garbage.
Heck no Exynos is trash tier
Just buy S22 ultra for the same price and have a much much better phone in every way possible
Whats the price?
how are haptics on this?
Honestly Samsung making their design language more common throughout their lines kinda make s23 fe design looks cheap same as A series despite different materials...
Does it have cooling and which glass protection on front???
It does have a dedicated cooling chamber unlike S20 and S21 FEs in order to handle 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 (which I believe is better optimized too for this one compared to S22 series).
On s21 fe we had gorilla glass victus om front adn we had cooling too
why does it have bigger bezels than s20/21fe?
are there astrophotography features like the s23 ultra?
Unfortunately due to no ExpertRAW (at least for now) no astrophotography!
So it's just an S22+ made to look similar to the S23+ with thicker bezels.
Biggest downgrade in the FE series, the display design is hilarious.
I'm thinking of switching from s10e to S23 FE. Since a lot of the features are the same, I'm taking the primary difference in the camera. I wonder how different the cameras can be? I don't suppose there's a real comparison yet, but indicative of whether the S23 FE is worth it?
better spend a lil more and go for S23
Does it have Samsung dex?
Can you add s-pen with this phone?
Does it support Netflix hdr??
so a camera comparison between s21 fe and s23 Fe
It will be an excellent purchase. but not now, but in a few months
Why are the bezels so thick? It looks exactly like the a54, doesn't look good at all. Imma keep my S20FE 5g for another year, i literally have no problems with it. Expected something better from samsung.
Do you guys have any issues with the fingerprint scanner it's a hit and miss to unlock the phone, very annoying 😠
tell us the battery performance and processor?
I did say both of those things in the videoà
@@SamMobileTV I meant SOT , how much it last compared to s23 3900mah??
Also how is the performance, is it still heating like s22 series or they have improved the processor??
What's the deal with the gigantic bezels? Is Samsung trying to make the S23 FE look like an iPhone from a couple of years ago?
I am using the A54 Sam's. Looking at the FE trying my best to distinguish the phones from each other 😢.
Thicker bezels ? A54 ? S23 fe ?
But who checks the bezels. Only people who really into phones
While showing the outside daytime display, why do you show the phone under the shadow and also use a shade while you are out of the shadow. This makes it an all good review and cheats your viewers 😮
My camera doesn't film it well in direct sunlight. But trust me, I wouldn't put it in the hands on if it didn't handle direct sunlight well. It definitely does
Esim and dex support?
Hi, does s23fe has USB slot ?
Still low PWM to butcher people's eyes?
The nothing phone 2 is a better option for the same price $599 ☝️
Those bezels are bloody THICK.....toss this phone into the fire!
The bezel even thicker than S21 FE. Woke up samsung
Battery life ?
What about a Mini SD Card slot?
You can just forget it, S23 FE don't get any micro SD slot...
WHY SAMSUNG?...🤦🏾♂️
