After watching your video, I made my first adjustable gemstone ring out of a 12 mm Tiger’s Eye gemstone, and 20 gauge Copper wire. Mine does not look as elegant as yours, but I am so happy with my funky ring! Thank you.
These rings are my favourite. They look so good! And changing the stone colour or shape can change the whole ring. So many possibilities with this design. Thank you Heather.
Thank you for this, they're lovely. Have been looking for something simple for my granddaughter and I've never made a ring before. Have a beautiful day.
A paperclip wouldn't be long enough for this design but I do have many paperclip ring tutorials on my channel! www.youtube.com/@HeatherBoydWire/search?query=paperclip%20ring
I totally understand. I did a sketch: I hope it helps! ua-cam.com/channels/YVZzUvVXBsc1uRRUBGX6sg.htmlcommunity?lb=UgkxxAg_8ilLRM9WY63VZByr3hFG1XkgZlXb
Unfortunately this didn't work at all for me, despite numerous attempts. Even with an 8mm and using the recommended and a small gauage wire, it was either impossible to put on with the wire curved, or I managed with the thinner wire but then the whole thing bent out of shape. I tried putting the bead on first but this didn't work either.
This diagram may help to keep the bead centred. Good luck: ua-cam.com/channels/YVZzUvVXBsc1uRRUBGX6sg.htmlcommunity?lb=UgkxxAg_8ilLRM9WY63VZByr3hFG1XkgZlXb

You are very welcome Rhonda.
I love this ring ... Are you using aluminium wire?
I use Artistic copper wire from Beadalon
Can you do that with just a paper clip? Thank you in advance! ❤️💕🙏

I have a metal mandrel. The ring spins on it. Where did you get the wood one?
Here is the stepped wooden mandrel I use....I love it! amzn.to/3LYWC6k

Thanks so much.
What Size should I make the ring, for it to fit most?
I think 7 is average!

You should have made a rose at the end to give it a design
The rose is a great idea. I'm slowly recreating my ring designs as adjustable versions. I'll definitely try the rose soon. Thank you.
Boa tarde
