I used the Loctite ultimate power grab for a marble break repair. The adhesive states it can be used on marble, granite etc.. First off its a jelly like adhesive and easy to use and dispense. Hoping for great results after 24 hours.
What do you think about using this as a clear caulk too (it would just be excessively adhesive)? But more so, if you have a very small, like one tile project, and, for instance, you don't want to break open a whole caulk tube for it.
loctite seam to make the best adhesives, such as there superglue, which holds plastic to plastic even under stress (where i used it, on clips holding motorcycle plastics together and so far after heavy knocks the clips havent broken again) and there stuff that stops bolts from vibrating apart, which ive also used works great.
This stuff really is super. I keep a tube or two in just for general supply. It would be nest to see him do a shear test on the glued panels, vs. just ah "ughhhh" pull test by hand.
i've never glued wood to drywall in the horizontal position considering most drywall is in the vertical position. Holding power for baseboards during drying time would be good to know
@racer4560 That's always a good plan. Try out new products. You might be surprised to see they work better and are easier to use. I love the fact it dries clear.

You forgot to show how to open this thing. It's a NIGHTMARE! We tried cutting it with a knife, a hacksaw, nothing worked. We finally got into it by drilling a hole with a small bit, then went to a larger one. WOW!
@rawan2010100 Simple. Click the link in the description of this video if you want numbers. You can't put a price in the video. What happens years from now? You can't go in and keep adjusting the number.
💥You could have used Dap caulk exactly the same way and 24 hours later it would have bonded just the same. I am still trying to figure out what the advantage of this is over basic Caulk which is half the price. Has anyone anyone tried to remove a piece of base trim that has been caulked onto a wall.??
I've tried this and believe it or not as good as the Power Grab is it didn't work for long. What happened to me is once the discs warmed up from using the brakes it melted the glue. My driving habits may not be normal as I race rally cars and drive NASCAR style down the tar roads in central NH. ua-cam.com/video/KjWCUwlkbP8/v-deo.html Often I'm going about 100 mph and the brake discs glow cherry red at night when I left-foot brake through the curves. Best advice is to read the label on the tube. BWAHAHAHAHHAHAAHA Oh, here I am driving at Bristol Motor Speedway: ua-cam.com/video/iY8FWwmc_q4/v-deo.html
Jeffrey, the *power is in the question*. My initial response would be, "Hell yes, you can use it to hang a shower bar. You can also use sperm whale blood because the protein in it as it dries is almost as strong as epoxy." You need to engage your God-given critical-thinking skills and ask the correct question in the future. I would suggest you ask: "What is the BEST WAY to hang a shower bar?" My answer then would have been: "When you read the instructions that were written by the bar manufacturer, WHAT DID THEY SAY TO DO?"

I just used it on tile backsplash in the kitchen. It seems to be working amazing. It says it is zero second set and that is pretty accurate. You can slide it around for a minute or so at least. But once you let go it holds and you can move on. I started with the normal mortar stuff and that kept sliding down. I had to shim it till it drys in like 24 hours. The Power Grab tiles.... no slip and they seem to be holding just fine so far. And they are large tiles.

Epoxy would have been my choice of adhesives in your situation.

@jimlupi I believe they warn you about that on the label. It makes total sense it would not cure as it's water-based.

USG's Drywall Construction Handbook says to install drywall HORIZONTALLY.

Do you recommend this for putting tile on the wall?
No. I'd use thinset.
It sayd on the list of things it can bond, one is aluminum, have you tried it with aluminum?

Exactly!!!! Not like the other type of cylinder caulks and adhesives!!!!

Yes, thousands of people have removed pieces of base trim caulked to a wall. There's a website that chronicles all of this.
I used premium on red bricks and held together strong enough to be used as tennis racket

@donyario You have to do the math yourself. Then you have to factor in strength, features, type of clean up, ease of use, etc.
Does the heavy duty stuff stick instantly or is there some movement time
Some movement time. It's NOT like contact cement.
Do you need the calk gun to use it?
No. If you're like Ironman you can squeeze the tube with your bare hands.

What do you recommend for gluing SPC floor tiles on wooden
stairs?
So simple!!! When you read the instructions that came with the SPC floor tiles, what did they say??????
Titebond is the best for wood to wood. Nothing is even close. Loctite is good for wood to drywall.

Can I glue a block of wood and hang 20 lbs from it.
