Did Quantum ever realize throughout the game that the upgraded glowing model happens/appears when he has upgraded ult active? Or did someone from chat say it? He kept asking in this vid and we didn't get any info whether he was answered.

That's so cool. I wish base Asol did that, get kinds glowy with The Skies Descend, or leave some kind of stardust trail.
I feel like of all the runes outside of the blue tree, Conqueror is about the best you could've ended up with. Asol already wants to take extended fights and layer ability uses on people. Imagine getting Hail of Blades or Lethal Tempo or most anything in the green tree.

ever since that quest came online, i kept picking asol against smolder as a counter. its soooo one sided when the quest starts, since asol always has his big ult up when it starts and smolder never has 225 stacks, hell not even 125 most of the times. you basically have asol with his best form vs base form kayn lol. and the stacks you get are sooooo nice.
I had one game (prime league) in which i had big ult in back to back tf because in the first tf i dropped big ult, killed smolder, and got so many stacks, that i instantly had big ult again.
