This is one of my favorites! Kurt please continue to make amazing covers with guys like Sam Tsui, Tyler Ward, and Alex Goot. Maybe you should do a cover with Alex Goot, Sam Tsui, Max Schneider, and the Piano Guys. I don't what song but it'd be pretty cool!

People are saying they think the cover isn't as good as the original, but isn't that the point? It's not to make the song better, its to make the song your own, make it different and bend the structure of the music to your own voice, taste in music and the way you feel. Music is art, is it not? Am I correct in saying that a painting cannot be perfectly painted twice?

Also, if some don't like this then they should just go listen to the original or don't listen to this at all, not just being critics. I mean, don't people have their own rights? Haters shound not even try to conform others to their own views!

I love this cover so much! I love this song and singing along to it. I can sing the original no problem, it's in my range, but this cover is just in my "oh yeah this is what I can rock" zone. I can hit all the notes really easily and it's just comfortable to sing. Not to mention how beautiful it all sounds!
Well, nobody can beat the original version but this is pretty awesome! (: x

The setting just adds to the perfection which is your voice.
While the drums give that nice, heavy, old and roman sound your voice (still sounding really pleasant though) lacks that touch a little. I guess I'm just a Bastille fanboy and used to their sound. I still enjoyed the song :)

I'm agreeing with some of the other comments. Sam is awesome when it comes to light pop songs, but he took a song that had a bit more depth to it and made it too light.
Sam has made some good deeper songs. However, you can't just blame it's lack of depth only on Sam. I'd say the entire production of it was a lighter mood. It was out on the beach with Kurt drumming passionately. If they wanted to make it a deeper and sadder song they would have had the setting in a black room with a single light above Sam.
I think this song works better with a lower voice, but it's still pretty good. :)

I love that so many of your videos are filmed outside, at the beach, parks, hillsides. I'm an avid outdoors person and being in SoCal I keep thinking wow what a treat it would be if on a hike, or an ocean swim I stumbled upon beautiful music!
Really love this Cover, it's amazing! The singing and the video are very good :D
The only aspect that I didn't like much was that the background part sounded kinda.. overproduced(?). I'm not sure if it's the right word, but in your latest videos, you tend to use a lot of technical effects for the background (at least it seems so to me).
However, I really enjoyed the Cover! Love it as always

I really love most of your music, but I think this song was more powerful with a husky more straightforward voice with less embellishing.
