@@avalonjustin It's a world where drinking some suspect liquids from bottles you find laying around summons volcanoes, I'm pretty sure magic can make your gold axe sharp and awesome. :P

An axe made of gold would make a bad weapon anyway. Gold is a relatively soft metal. Would bend and dent very easily.
