This is 3.5 NTRP tennis at best.
bruh
In his prime mark bagels these guys
silly mark
LOL!
3.0 tennis maybe
This is nearly pro level tennis and most of us can only dream of
Whilst the standard is far above any of us club players it is the positioning that we can all learn so much from. Thanks so much for posting.
Thanks Dan! Yeah, i'll try to maybe make some videos in the future going more in depth when it comes to court coverage and net movement in doubles :)
I have basic tennis skills but since i have been working on my positioning on court my winrate in doubles has gone up alot. Its insane how much more matches you can win by just being in the right spot at the right time :) It is something that is still overlooked by alot of amateur players.
Friends around and play high-level tennis. It's such a beautiful life, dudes. So much love from an Asian.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE tennis!!! TY!
Doubles is fun!!
Amazing match and such high quality from all players. ❤
Thanks!!
Beautiful match.
Wow. Really awesome 1st serve 👌.
Amazing tennis to watch!!
Best camera angle to watch a match. You can appreciate the spin and pace of ball much better than the north/south angle
Thanks for the feedback!
Un-bloody believable. Absolute high quality.
Thanks for your video. I have learned a lot.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it Angela!!
3:28 Return Forehand is insane!
😳 👏 👏 amazing tennis 🎾 level 👍 👍
Great match! Wow!
thanks!
THE BEHIND THE BACK 🤯🥵🤩
Nastyyy
Awesome tennis match.
Thanks Vincent!
What an amazing match
These guys ARE good. Of course it is hard to compare these guys to pro. They ARE good, but pro is a level further, bigger serves, more action on the ball, etc. AND, watching someone play on a video is very different from watching it live, so pretty hard to compare accurately. Darn good tennis for sure, thanks for posting.
That wide serve 1:31
Nastyyy!
I literally want to play like this. What a play
Nice camera angle and good video overall!
Damn. Every point was epic.
very nice playing by all
WoW! 👍
Eric Moonga utr 12.02
Jakob Amilon utr 12.xx
Fred Simonsson utr 9.xx
I cant find utr's for Sebastian, but they'll be broadly similar. To give you an idea, Seita Watanabe is a utr 12.85 and is ranked around 1000 in the world.
For me, this is a great level to watch and enjoy. Sometimes ranking doesnt mean a lot; its just if someone had a great few matches at a place where they managed to get some points. It can mean the difference between quite a few places on the leaderboard. The person currently ranked #1000 has 10 ATP points. The person ranked #580 has 50 ATP points. 1 good tournament can make that difference easily.
Hmm I think you have the wrong UTR for Fred Simonsson. And since all of them has retired they've certainly dropped, but pretty sure they've all been above 13, and Fred Simonsson has for sure been over 14 in doubles!
@@Simon.Freund Simon you may well be right. I did think that was a bit strange, but I couldn't find another player with the same name any higher??
I played high-level college tennis, and yes, this is what D1 and even lower college tennis looks like. These guys are not that far removed at all from world-class pro level.
Thanks for the view and comment! Where'd you play college tennis at?
I can’t really tell the difference between these guys and 100-300 atp players
@@ST-ek6lf Yeah, I agree. I've played tennis my whole life in tournaments and throughout school, and these guys look young but all appear to be excellent players. They must all be at least accomplished college players or club pros or something as the video title alludes to without being specific. The thing that makes me not sure if they played on a pro tour is that they look very young like in college or just out of college. But you're right, I've attended and seen up close world-class, pro tournaments before, and it pretty much looks like this. Who knows? But they are somewhere in the general vicinity. :)
not far removed from "world-class pro"? you're tripping bro. I think they're playing well here but the space between this and world class is huge. doesn't matter they're consistently making good shots and choices and it seems there is no bs emotional drama going on- good playing and Good video guys!
@@dmmusicmusic I don't know, you may be right. But the times when I attended pro WCT tournaments here in Richmiond, Virginia, it didn't look close up at court level all that different than this, albeit maybe faster. And I mean the points and play seemed lightning fast compared to how slow it appears on T.V. And when I played D2 tennis in college and tournaments locally, I and and some of the better players were playing at about this level. Like somebody else said: there seem to be a lot of good and better players now than there used to be. And he also said he didn't think this looked that different from pros in about the 300 to 500 level world rankings. I guess it's all relative and depends on you perception and personal experiences.
Really like the camera angle here and quality of tennis. Was anything at stake here or is this their version of a fun match?
Thanks! Yes, was actually about 1000$ worth of prize stuff in the pot for the winners. And an immense amount of pride as well haha...
These “former D1” players still have the goods. High level of doubles tennis.
This can pass for pro match- seriously
That serve at 1:33 was so in.
I don't think it was called out.
@@starllama2149 it was, there was a second serve
i don't really know but it looks like the guy in red is the best? were there singles matches?
Only a doubles tournament this one!
This is awesome.
Crazy that top top tour level guys are still a step better than this.
Thanks!! And yes, must admit, it's probably a few steps haha..
+William Summers way more than a step better these arent even pros let alone elite pros
Are they using rackets or canons...? Unbelievable sound
haha!
I suck, but I can say, toss a lil more in front of the baseline and you'll get another 10-15mph on your serve.
Which person are you referring to? Or tip for all the guys? The guy in dark blue/Black shirt has a crazy good serve!!
need that floral shirts ASAP. where to get it?
Hmm I’ll get back to you!
Old collection! Used to have them in yellow as well. Definitely a pair of favorites. If you pay well enough I might be able to send them to ya ;)
wonder how these guys would stack up against serena, or any of the top women's players today
6-0 6-0 would be my guess, never write Serena off in doubles or singles, she can serve 125 mph still!
6-0 6-0 the guys will win yes…. It has been proven time over time… an amateur guy can bagel a top 100 WTA, with many videos out there. There’s no hate on the genders, just physique wise, the guys are built much more better for performance.
@@Shin-lp6iz You're talking poppycock, any top 100 female player singles female will beat an amateur guy in either singles or doubles, unless they are world ranked.
Top women would beat all these guys. Iga is a UTR 13.4. These guys are all lower.
At 11:30, that ball went out
Haha, just out... #fore
Not really sure... might have to challenge that one
fking hell. who are these guys
Above 4.0
Dude in white looks and plays like Thiem.
His backhand is better than Thiems...
I don't see you guys moving at the net
They're gettin old... Not that bad tho was it?
The amount of idiocy in the comment section is yuck.
Indoor tennis…..
Love it .... haha
I would hate to have to high-five my partner after every point we won. Let’s just move on.
haha I hear you, probably just a ticks tennis players develop or get taught from early on
You can compare D1 college tennis to a triple A in baseball, it is right there with the ATP pro tour and in fact many former college players are in the tour and many ranked in the top 100 .....Joe Salisburry who is ranked #1 in the world in doubles, played for the University of Memphis and his partner ranked #2 Rajev Ram played at Illinois.
Yes, good point there! college tennis is certainly becoming a much more viable path to the pro circuit in the later days
@@Simon.Freund Some of them are regularly playing 15000 dollars 25000 dollars tournaments in Europe during their free time and regularly beat Atp pros ´ it’s even harder for Atp pros to assess their true level as they don’t know their rank 😆 I am big fan of Jules Marie a French ATP pro player who has his YT c h a n n e l he is making videos about his come back on the ATP tour he was ranking 818 last year and now he is ranking 492. He made us know better about ATP tour life and all what is around it and behind it ´ great channel you should watch it sometimes even if it’s in French some interviews are in English ´ great contents for tennis fans 👍 👍 hope you ll enjoy 😉
Former pros? Obviously not.
Hmm... I'd say #197 in the world's not that bad. Also represented sweden in a Davis cup match
@@Simon.Freund Sounds pretty good indeed. I'll take that back, sry
There's a reason why zero people watch doubles...
What you meant to say was "..why zero casual fans watch doubles".
Doubles is more complex, the Average boring person can’t keep up with it
@@yuva591 LOL. you and I both know that's complete horseshit. doubles is for old men, and players who can't make it in singles. You gonna cry now?
@@03cobra4 nah, zero fans period. literally zero. LOL
@@kingtrawal yet you are here...
