    Glad to see a project video that doesn't have $5,000 worth of power tools and fancy gadgets I don't have and, frankly, can't afford. Thank you.

    I really like the dual format. My wife said it was very pretty and now she wants me to make her one.

    I can see how the 2 different video Styles would draw different crowds. I Much prefer this style but my wife and daughter would choose the other. Great work as usual!

      Thanks Alan. I hope it does well too. I like the setup. it is a bit more work but I think it will make more people happy.

    I like this format. You have a good way of explaining the operation. I don't care for the music. Most of what is available these days is just someone banging on a drum to some mindless beat.🙂🙂

      you will be happy to know I have dropped the music in the last 2 years. this is the way all of the Saturday videos are now.

    Saludos amigo,así empezé yo en el taller de mi abuelo materno todo era manual aunque ya había luz eléctrica pero todo lo hacía manual siento nostalgia por esos tiempos idos y que nunca más los volveré a ver.

    I like both formats, each for a different reason. This one is informative and instructional, and is what I would go to to learn "how to." The other format has nice music and is otherwise more artsy. It is more useful for meditating on the Zen of hand tool woodworking.

      Wood By Wright 2
      Your welcome .. would love to see more small projects if there's demands or time for them.. I've asked several people but no such luck.. I like yourself use only hand tools, some of i either purchased or restored when i get them. Unfortunately not easy in Ireland.
      But my father (RIP) was a carpenter and I'm lucky to have some of his old tools n stuff...
      Soon to hit the 50 yo mark I'd love to start doing wood work again something i always loved and found "at home" doing ..
      So thank u once again and .. may your stock always be true.. DQ . 🔨

    I like the format of this channel. May I suggest that the voice over be louder on the next one. Its hard to hear you at times especially during sawing and such. I do love your work and both your channels.

    • @WoodByWrightHowTo
      @WoodByWrightHowTo  5 років тому

      thanks. audio balancing is a trick with voice-over. if I make it much louder it starts clipping, the problem is in bringing down the other sections to a manageable level and that level is different for each of the clips. but it is fun!

    Close enough is good enough.. Who needs perfect :D Very nice. I'm not sure I should show my wife because she will want a few. So please don't tell her. No time at present. busy with other projects :D

    I want to try my hand at making one of these. Your link indicates you used a one-way plexiglass mirror but in the UK Amazon don't stock it and eBay only have one available which has to be imported from USA at a total cost of over £65!!! Plenty of 2- way alternatives but will these work just as well?
