I hope that they film Oda when he draws the final page of One Piece, the moment when he finally puts down his pen and is officially finished with drawing the series. I would love to see his expression and emotions in that moment, after all these years and all of his hard work.
I would like to see Fujitora’s backstory after seeing a glimpse of Aokiji and especially Kizaru’s stories. Fujitora already taking a liking to Luffy and questioning the world government’s philosophy, maybe a chat with Koby after the events with the blackbeard pirates.
I'm hoping Morgans arrives on Egghead Island just in time to do a live report of the event that will shock the world. I'm mostly looking forward to Wapol's reaction when he then realizes that when he tried to run away from the Five Elders he accidentally ran straight back into one of them.
You know, now that I think about it, Oda's doing some brilliant literature by making Egghead feel like it's ending soon for so long. It really helps the audience feel the mindset of the Straw Hats for the whole time: "We just wanna get out of here, dammit!"
Even with lesser chapters for the lasts year, the plot progression was amazing. The lore drop, revelations , back stories, everything was perfect, i have no complaints for the last year.
Not impossible, there is already some big statues of God Usopp in certain places that he's already been at. Like in Dressrosa making statue of Usopp and Lucy not to mention the Tontattas little pirate ship have the face of Usopp and they call themselves the Usopp-pirates lol, also At Skypea since Usopp made buissness with some skypeans he got dials for giving them a bunch of rubber bands and two years after that there is a big cool statue of Usopp dressed like a skypean and it's a entrence of a amusmentpark with rubberbands lol.
I never realized that we only get ~30 chapters/ year. I was 100% certain we would be in Elbaf by june. You're right, if we get any more flashbacks or even interludes of what's happening elsewhere of wherever strawhats are at that point in time, we won't get to Elbaf too soon. And at this point the story is progressing in multiple places at the same time.
Honestly i think getting the last road poneglyph is very likely because in Oda's annual notes when he says "that thing" there is a cheeky word "red stone" hidden at the side if you read from the top down
I'm surprised no one mentioned going to Pirate Island and saving Garp. We know some Blackbeard pirates are outside of Egghead plus in jump fest Oda says he can't stop Luffy from where he is going which for his family/friend he will absolutely go try to rescue him
Because that would be to similar to Ace situation, plus it still earlier for Luffy vs Blackbeard when Shanks is going after Blackbeard. Garp will be used in the bargain of Blackbeard in someway, because would be weird for Oda to estabilish that just for not happening.

To all those who say it's time to move on from Egghead - I just reread the whole thing. The arc officially started in chapter 1058, and today we're at ch.1103. 66 chapters. About half of that time we actually spent with the straw hats, exploring Egghead, the muder mystery, CP0, the siege, battle against Kizaru and finally Saturn. The other half is split into cutaways to other big players, the marines, oder yonko etc and various flashbacks, including eight chapters of the Kuma flashback. So essentially in those 66 chapters so far we got abt 25 to 30 chapters of actual Straw Hat / Egghead realted content and the rest is world building and flashbacks. Based on this I do have my doubts, if the Egghead story will be finished this year.
It will 150% end lol. All that’s left is Saturn going down and Egghead getting bombarded while Kuma and the AK robot provide a distraction for the strawhats to escape
There‘s been plenty of other arcs filled with flashbacks that didn’t last 2 long, so that isn’t anything new. We’re in the final saga, things have been moving very quickly, yet at the same time it’s still A LOT of stuff that still needs to be covered. I don’t think Oda will drag Egghead out at all. The arc has already served its purpose Saturn vs Kuma vs Luffy is clearly the climax here
The first prediction that will come true is probably Kuma’s death. Saturn specifically asked for a self destruct function in Kuma, so if he doesn’t make use of it, then that would not only be illogical, it would also go against Checkove’s Gun “Don’t show a gun unless you plan on using it” or in this case “Don’t tell your readers about a character having a bomb inside them that there enemies can choose to blow up at any time, for any reason, if you don’t plan to use it”. Kuma’s death could happen next chapter, as depressing as that may be, he might not even get the punch off, although I think Oda will let us have that at the very least.
My way out there, crazy long shot prediction: Cover story where Vivi goes to Wano to hide from the WG, meets Yamato, Kinemon, and Momonosuke, and they set sail together to catch up with Luffy as the self-proclaimed Second Division of the Straw Hat Pirates.
I think it'd be hilarious if Loki was prince of the giants because he was the shortest. Like they're all so tall that they perceive shortness as a beautiful genetic trait.
I truly don’t want Saturn to be defeated here. I feel like it’ll undermine both the Gorosei and the God Knights. I feel that the God Knights have to be faced (and have at least some defeated) before a Gorosei member could be taken out. I expect the final battle with the government (whether it be a mixture of being the final battle with Blackbeard or they’re separate final battles for the SH’s) to be a select few main characters that take on the Gorosei while Imu and Luffy duel it out
Why would the God Knights need to be defeated first? They’re basically just law enforcement for Mary Geoise. I believe once Imu and the Gorosei go down, they will 2. You have to think, we’re already in the final saga and the SH’s still have A LOT of enemies to face. I think 1v1’ing each Gods Knight would take up too much time. Chapter 1103 was a critical moment, and someone is definitely going to be defeated, whether it be Kuma or Saturn.

Luffy huge area attacks or Haki-blasts all the little minions, sometimes humors the advanced minions, has a 1 or 2 episode fight with the officer-minions and then has a final showdown with the Arc-Boss in literally every arc. Occasionally he does things a little out of order, like getting knocked out early by Kaido, but he absolutely follows a pretty standard meta-structure the entire time.

Mr 3, Satori, Blueno, Vergo and Jack are all examples of this. Saturn going down on Egghead would fit right in.
Between Gear 5, The One Piece announcement, One Piece Live Action season 2 being greenlit, and Wanted getting adapted into an anime, I think it’ll be pretty challenging to beat 2023 for Eiichiro Oda wins.

Man Marked by flames Identity Theroy below. It gets a little weird down there 😅 The man marked by flames Identity is always a fun topic to listen to. But I had a crazy thought. There is precident for this with the cases of Pell and recently Saul. But what if the man marked by flame is.... Donquixote "Corazon" Rosinante. Yes this is absurd but hear me out. Corazon always seemed to catch fire in Laws flashbacks on Dressrosa. Law seemed somewhat shook when the Kid pirates start talking about the man marked by flames before they leave Wano. I like to think that the Title Man Marked By Flames just reminded him of Corazon. But then this also lines up with Shiryu stating he thinks the man marked by flames used to work for the World Government. Only thing that doesn't make sense is how would Corazon make the whirlpools that the man marked by flames is said to be able to conjure. Is this a crazy theory? Absolutly. But Oda is just as if not more of a crazy man LOL.

Maybe we can see this year: * The fall of both Saturn and Kuma. * Strawhats going to Elbaf. * Reunion of Shanks and Luffy. * Battle between Strawhats, Shank's crew and Blackbeard's. * Rescue of Pudding.
Prediction: The only time Luffy used G5 without turning old was when he didn't turn into a giant. Knowing this, as well as the fact that 1. Joyboy was some sort of giant and 2. Elbaf is the next island, this will be expanded on on Elbaf leading Luffy to understand a lot more about his new form and consequentially becoming MUCH stronger, of course :). We will see!

I have a crackpot prediction that I just want to put out into the ether so that I can celebrate if it happens. Kuma deliberately became a slave to the celestial dragons, not only to protect Bonnie, but so that he would be in the place that has the most concentrated amount of pain and suffering for him to bubble away and he is about to hit Saturn with the collected pain and suffering of every slave he could find. The Major Battles To Look Out For in 2024 Luffy Vs Shanks -- The very first fight that Oda could potentially be talking about is Luffy vs Shanks. Fans know that Luffy has to fight Shanks at some point in the story. Of course, it is not going to be a battle where Luffy is intent on crushing his enemy. Instead, it is going to be a test for Luffy where Shanks sees if he has truly surpassed him or not. This is a battle that is inevitably going to happen and it's something that Luffy himself wants as well. He has previously made it clear that he wants to take down Shanks as well, and now is the time for it to happen. Shanks Vs Blackbeard Of course, another battle that Oda could have been referring to is Shanks versus Blackbeard. Just like Luffy versus Shanks, Shanks versus Blackbeard is a fight that is inevitably going to happen at some point in One Piece. During the Paramount War, Blackbeard himself made it clear that it was too soon for him to fight Shanks, however, it was clear that there would be a battle between them in the future of One Piece. Following the conclusion of the Wano war, Shanks was seen chasing Blackbeard. In fact, the entire reason why he was in the seas around Wano was to look out for Blackbeard. When Shanks left Elbaf, once again, he was on the lookout for Blackbeard. This appears to be a great buildup for Shanks to eventually find Blackbeard, possibly intercept him and eventually, fight him. This fight is going to happen at some point in the story very soon and it is possible that Oda might be teasing it in his Jump Festa message. Oda mentioned that the conclusion to the big fight in 2024 will be unexpected, so fans can potentially expect Shanks to lose. For me, what I expect to see for 2024 is the reveal of another of the Five Elder's powers. We got a taste of it with Saturn, and with how evil the guy has been, who else wants to bet the other four are just as or maybe even worse, than Saturn?
The only one that could be worse is the sword one, Nusjuro. The others have showed concerns for the people they were m4ssacrating, or even questioned Im orders. Saturn and Nusjuro however never showed any concern and always agreed with Im. Also i doubt the same amount of attention will be given to the others, since they will be under Im, while Saturn is independent in this arc.

i really dont think anybody has said anything about this yet, but i really think that joyboy is gonna be a buccaneer. it explains the big hat, and the reason why the buccaneer race has been hunted down by the world government. kuma also knows about nika from the start, and the idea that in an alternate future jinny became the new joyboy, it just kinda seems to fit.

I personally don't think we are going to Elbaf... this year. I think EggHead will be a Sabaody situation, and then we are getting our fare share of Impel Down Break but with Cross Guild as the center till 2025.
It would be crazy if all current 5 emperors have a conflict on elbaf causing world panic. If the marines were worried about two emperors meeting up all the way back when shanks met with whitebeard, imagine the response if all of them met together.
Honorable mention… Usopp gets some power up at elbaf maybe a new weapon with a devil fruit infused in it and connects old storylines with him and the giants. He is in need of a glow up to catch up with the power of the crew.
I kind of wish you would linger on graphs and things like that more because sometimes it's even hard to pause the video at the right time to take a proper look because it just goes by so quickly.
I think Saturns Power will be the first to get explained, since we know it for so long already and Kumas Backstory is now over, rather that or Kumas Sacrifice/Death again saving his daughter and the Strawhats
I actually believe that Urouge is going to be one of the more important characters in the long run. Mainly because of his link to sky islands. We know multiple of them exist, and we know there is apparently an "easy" way to get to them, as was stated back on Skypeia. But we don't know anything about that path to get to them. The only thing we know is that it is highly likely that people will die on that path, while the Knockup Stream was considered an all or nothing attempt. I am actually willing to bet that Laugh Tale is actually a sky island. With hundreds if not thousands of pirate crews just exploring the new world, someone would have stumbled across Laugh Tale by accident someday. Unless it's not on the ground. So finding the coordinates of Laugh Tale is only the first step. After that, it's a matter of getting onto the sky island far above those coordinates. Besides for Kaido who can literally fly, Urouge is the only one we've ever seen on a sky island in the New World so far. So he knows how to get up there. And beyond that, we only know of a small handful of people that even believe Sky Islands exist, let alone have visited one. The Straw Hats, Bellamy, Kaido and Roger. Not counting those that live or born on sky islands that is.
One of the way I can see them skip Elbaf this year, is if Luffy learns it's the territory of Shank and Luffy doesn't want to meet him because he feels he's not ready
Or laffite and or Caterina runs into luffy and mentions having garp as a prisoner, then it might be a change of plans to go to hachinosu unless its a repeat of the crew reacting to vivi being missing and zoro or jimbe has to be the voice of reason to convince luffy not to change course and stick to elbaf

The other half is split into cutaways to other big players, the marines, oder yonko etc and various flashbacks, including eight chapters of the Kuma flashback.
So essentially in those 66 chapters so far we got abt 25 to 30 chapters of actual Straw Hat / Egghead realted content and the rest is world building and flashbacks.
Based on this I do have my doubts, if the Egghead story will be finished this year.
It will 150% end lol. All that’s left is Saturn going down and Egghead getting bombarded while Kuma and the AK robot provide a distraction for the strawhats to escape
There‘s been plenty of other arcs filled with flashbacks that didn’t last 2 long, so that isn’t anything new.
We’re in the final saga, things have been moving very quickly, yet at the same time it’s still A LOT of stuff that still needs to be covered. I don’t think Oda will drag Egghead out at all. The arc has already served its purpose

The first prediction that will come true is probably Kuma’s death. Saturn specifically asked for a self destruct function in Kuma, so if he doesn’t make use of it, then that would not only be illogical, it would also go against Checkove’s Gun “Don’t show a gun unless you plan on using it” or in this case “Don’t tell your readers about a character having a bomb inside them that there enemies can choose to blow up at any time, for any reason, if you don’t plan to use it”. Kuma’s death could happen next chapter, as depressing as that may be, he might not even get the punch off, although I think Oda will let us have that at the very least.

I truly don’t want Saturn to be defeated here. I feel like it’ll undermine both the Gorosei and the God Knights. I feel that the God Knights have to be faced (and have at least some defeated) before a Gorosei member could be taken out. I expect the final battle with the government (whether it be a mixture of being the final battle with Blackbeard or they’re separate final battles for the SH’s) to be a select few main characters that take on the Gorosei while Imu and Luffy duel it out
Why would the God Knights need to be defeated first? They’re basically just law enforcement for Mary Geoise. I believe once Imu and the Gorosei go down, they will 2.
You have to think, we’re already in the final saga and the SH’s still have A LOT of enemies to face. I think 1v1’ing each Gods Knight would take up too much time. Chapter 1103 was a critical moment, and someone is definitely going to be defeated, whether it be Kuma or Saturn.

Luffy huge area attacks or Haki-blasts all the little minions, sometimes humors the advanced minions, has a 1 or 2 episode fight with the officer-minions and then has a final showdown with the Arc-Boss in literally every arc.
Occasionally he does things a little out of order, like getting knocked out early by Kaido, but he absolutely follows a pretty standard meta-structure the entire time.

Mr 3, Satori, Blueno, Vergo and Jack are all examples of this. Saturn going down on Egghead would fit right in.

1) Saturn Power Explanation (in order to see him fight we must learn something first)
2) Kizaru Redemption (he will either let something happen or actually do something redeemable)
3) Kuma Dies (I can't see how the Egghead island arc can end with Kuma alive)
4) Three Named Character deaths (Kuma, Saturn and possibly another Vegapunk, there are too many to take on the ship)
5) Egghead Ends (they leave Egghead island sailing towards Elbaf)
6) Dragon Does Something (in some classic in between arcs chapters)
7) Go to Elbaf (we are finally there!)
8) Return of Saul (Saul will be one of their first stops there)
9) Loki Revealed (Loki will want to see the Yonko that reached their island and God Usopp that so many giants talk about!)

The man marked by flames Identity is always a fun topic to listen to. But I had a crazy thought. There is precident for this with the cases of Pell and recently Saul. But what if the man marked by flame is.... Donquixote "Corazon" Rosinante. Yes this is absurd but hear me out. Corazon always seemed to catch fire in Laws flashbacks on Dressrosa. Law seemed somewhat shook when the Kid pirates start talking about the man marked by flames before they leave Wano. I like to think that the Title Man Marked By Flames just reminded him of Corazon. But then this also lines up with Shiryu stating he thinks the man marked by flames used to work for the World Government. Only thing that doesn't make sense is how would Corazon make the whirlpools that the man marked by flames is said to be able to conjure. Is this a crazy theory? Absolutly. But Oda is just as if not more of a crazy man LOL.

Prediction: The only time Luffy used G5 without turning old was when he didn't turn into a giant. Knowing this, as well as the fact that 1. Joyboy was some sort of giant and 2. Elbaf is the next island, this will be expanded on on Elbaf leading Luffy to understand a lot more about his new form and consequentially becoming MUCH stronger, of course :). We will see!

The Major Battles To Look Out For in 2024
Luffy Vs Shanks -- The very first fight that Oda could potentially be talking about is Luffy vs Shanks. Fans know that Luffy has to fight Shanks at some point in the story. Of course, it is not going to be a battle where Luffy is intent on crushing his enemy. Instead, it is going to be a test for Luffy where Shanks sees if he has truly surpassed him or not. This is a battle that is inevitably going to happen and it's something that Luffy himself wants as well. He has previously made it clear that he wants to take down Shanks as well, and now is the time for it to happen. Once Luffy gets to Elbad, perhaps, that is where he ends up fighting against Shanks and, given that this is a battle that fans have been waiting years for, it could end up being the one that Oda mentioned in his message.
Shanks Vs Blackbeard
Of course, another battle that Oda could have been referring to is Shanks versus Blackbeard. Just like Luffy versus Shanks, Shanks versus Blackbeard is a fight that is inevitably going to happen at some point in One Piece. During the Paramount War, Blackbeard himself made it clear that it was too soon for him to fight Shanks, however, it was clear that there would be a battle between them in the future of One Piece. Following the conclusion of the Wano war, Shanks was seen chasing Blackbeard. In fact, the entire reason why he was in the seas around Wano was to look out for Blackbeard.
When Shanks left Elbaf, once again, he was on the lookout for Blackbeard. This appears to be a great buildup for Shanks to eventually find Blackbeard, possibly intercept him and eventually, fight him. This fight is going to happen at some point in the story very soon and it is possible that Oda might be teasing it in his Jump Festa message. Oda mentioned that the conclusion to the big fight in 2024 will be unexpected, so fans can potentially expect Shanks to lose. However, nothing can be said for sure and fans can only hope that Oda shocks everyone and surpasses all expectations, as he always has.

The only one that could be worse is the sword one, Nusjuro. The others have showed concerns for the people they were m4ssacrating, or even questioned Im orders. Saturn and Nusjuro however never showed any concern and always agreed with Im. Also i doubt the same amount of attention will be given to the others, since they will be under Im, while Saturn is independent in this arc.

i really dont think anybody has said anything about this yet, but i really think that joyboy is gonna be a buccaneer. it explains the big hat, and the reason why the buccaneer race has been hunted down by the world government. kuma also knows about nika from the start, and the idea that in an alternate future jinny became the new joyboy, it just kinda seems to fit.

I personally don't think we are going to Elbaf... this year.
I think EggHead will be a Sabaody situation, and then we are getting our fare share of Impel Down Break but with Cross Guild as the center till 2025.
It would be crazy if all current 5 emperors have a conflict on elbaf causing world panic. If the marines were worried about two emperors meeting up all the way back when shanks met with whitebeard, imagine the response if all of them met together.
Honorable mention… Usopp gets some power up at elbaf maybe a new weapon with a devil fruit infused in it and connects old storylines with him and the giants. He is in need of a glow up to catch up with the power of the crew.
I kind of wish you would linger on graphs and things like that more because sometimes it's even hard to pause the video at the right time to take a proper look because it just goes by so quickly.
Could Urouge have buccaneer blood? Just a thought I had when he was brought up, maybe some buccaneers fled to a sky island in the past?

I think Saturns Power will be the first to get explained, since we know it for so long already and Kumas Backstory is now over, rather that or Kumas Sacrifice/Death again saving his daughter and the Strawhats
I actually believe that Urouge is going to be one of the more important characters in the long run.
Mainly because of his link to sky islands. We know multiple of them exist, and we know there is apparently an "easy" way to get to them, as was stated back on Skypeia. But we don't know anything about that path to get to them. The only thing we know is that it is highly likely that people will die on that path, while the Knockup Stream was considered an all or nothing attempt.
I am actually willing to bet that Laugh Tale is actually a sky island. With hundreds if not thousands of pirate crews just exploring the new world, someone would have stumbled across Laugh Tale by accident someday. Unless it's not on the ground.
So finding the coordinates of Laugh Tale is only the first step. After that, it's a matter of getting onto the sky island far above those coordinates. Besides for Kaido who can literally fly, Urouge is the only one we've ever seen on a sky island in the New World so far. So he knows how to get up there.
And beyond that, we only know of a small handful of people that even believe Sky Islands exist, let alone have visited one. The Straw Hats, Bellamy, Kaido and Roger. Not counting those that live or born on sky islands that is.

One of the way I can see them skip Elbaf this year, is if Luffy learns it's the territory of Shank and Luffy doesn't want to meet him because he feels he's not ready
Or laffite and or Caterina runs into luffy and mentions having garp as a prisoner, then it might be a change of plans to go to hachinosu unless its a repeat of the crew reacting to vivi being missing and zoro or jimbe has to be the voice of reason to convince luffy not to change course and stick to elbaf
