Synopsis:
In this film we’ll reveal the real Princess Margaret in a place she felt most at home and most able to be herself. From scandalous affairs, x-rated party games, a rumoured rock star lover and even an alleged bank robbery, Mustique was where Margaret could behave outrageously, away from prying eyes…well, most of the time. We’ll use stunning archive, insider testimony and expert interviews to find out what the original royal party girl really got up to on her Caribbean hideaway.
When Margaret first visited Mustique there was no electricity or even running water. Like everyone else, the Queen’s sister had to shower using a bucket with holes in, hung from a tree and shielded by a piece of sailcloth - and she absolutely loved it. How did this seemingly un-royal destination become Margaret’s second home for nearly 30 years? Her own personal love island.
Margaret first fell in love with the island of Mustique in 1960 during her six week Caribbean honeymoon cruise with husband Anthony Armstrong Jones (later Lord Snowdon). But the Princess’s love affair with the primitive island would prove to outlast her difficult marriage. Having purchased the island ‘on a whim’ for £45,000, Lord Glenconner, the husband of Margaret’s childhood friend Anne, then gifted her a 10 acre - plot of land as a wedding present and offered to build her a house. The luxurious five bed villa with panoramic ocean views was finally completed in 1972 and Margaret christened it Les Jolies Eaux meaning ‘beautiful waters’. We’ll learn that this was the first, and only house, she ever owned and the only place she considered home.

She was well known as mean. She would order foods, wines locally and never paid for the items. She expected every one to foot the bill. Awful women.
She was a rebel .Her sister was the same but she had no freedom . She had to complet. Including Phillip treasons. I really miss Elizabeth. She was doomed by her duty. She died suffiront. She had cancer but noone was to know about it .She died alone. None of her siblings are worth her legacy.Charles is just no one.

I think Princess Margaret would have been so supportive of Harry and his choices...Margaret was also know the SPARE..can you imagine the pressure living within that family....she was very different and lived life as she liked..imagine having to answer to your own sister for just about every aspect of your life..what a tragedy...The royal family are expected to act perfect in every situation even in their private life...now mind you if you could do it without the public finding out well that was ok with the royal family...with all that pressure on you it is no wonder they acted like they did..the royal family can be so two faced when the need be

Would have been decent if she gave back the estate to it's original owners who built her the house. She never paid for. Her son sold it and gained allot.
The designer Oliver Messel who is mentioned here a few times was also uncle to Margaret's husband Anthony-Armstrong Jones (Lord Snowdon), which might have been worth mentioning.

Did princess Margaret only just have fun dressing up same as everyone else does too or was the pressure always on for her to have the look whenever her daddy (and maybe mummy too) knew there would be a photoshoot soon that day?

Rebeling behavior of European royals is surprising for we Asians... In Asia , being born into the royal family mean you are very fortunate... you have semi divine status and you have to bear all the responsibilities that come with it without complaining at all....
I think it is the same as for Europeans. But Princess Margaret and Prince Harry are two peas in a pod and Fergie all rebellious

That photoshop fail at 44:05 what’s that about? Her face on a dudes body?

Sadly Princess Margaret didn’t take care of her health. The drinking, smoking, parties shortened her life by 2 or 3 decades, based on her mother and sister.
