FYI: I was unaware of the "Mouse Control" as described in the video. This is from GSPRO from the manual:
Control Type: Default setting is “Simulator”, which is your Launch Monitor. You are
also able to play GSPro using your Mouse as a controller. Setting this to Mouse will
disable all Tournament play if you are a member of SGT.
Also: BLI Enable is: Break Line Indicator / BLI: To see the green exactly from your ball to the cup you can use the mouse and BLI (break line indicator).
Also: HLA Correct is: Putting HLA (horizontal launch angle) correction on or off (with this on, you can hit it 2 degrees left or right only, with it off you can hit it as far right or left as possible with no left or right correction. This is personal play style + launch monitor specific. - Спорт

the beginner to scratch has a handicap number. Are you a 26? that's what you would set it to.
@@mbda1 Thanks for watching and commenting! It did not matter what I had it set at initially because I did not play online or in SGT events. As I begin to use the software online it will be set properly for fairness. Cheers!
@@Break100Golf if you put in your official handicap, then it will show up on your local match data and you can see your net score for a given course. IRL all courses have different slopes, so your 90 on one course may be a lot better than 90 on another.

Thank you so much for this video. Although I have a different launch monitor in the Bushnell Launch Pro, I am relatively new to GSPro and just the tip of doing a snip of the shortcuts helped a bunch. Now to print it out and go get it laminated.

I have not used it. I have a Roxor Golf control box. There are a few videos with people using it on YT with GSPro. I'm sure you already saw that!
Hey. Liked this video on gs pro settings. I’ve done the on course practice to hit tee shots on my course repeatedly. But can you go from hole to hole to practice every tee shot? I haven’t figure that out
You can do it. Go to "practice, then "On course practice", select the holes you want to play, and go into the course, then click the golf flag symbol in the upper left and select each hole. You can also click on the ball logo and place the ball anywhere on the course by clicking the ball then clicking on the area of the mini map. Thanks for watching!
mouse mode is to play with a mouse instead of a launch monitor, you can play gspro with like a video game and no LM if you want with the mouse setting

Does GSPro have any volume or sound options? Just curious. Playing Awesome Golf sort of like some of the sounds but more like a video game. When I use e6 afterwards it is very quiet.
Yes...it does. Water splashes, hitting trees, landing on the fairways, birds, or whatever the designer puts on their course

I am using a Garmin R10 combo GSpro, TG19 & E6 at home and about to open a sim business using an Eye XO w/ the same 3 software packages at that location. What software & launch monitor combos rely on the player to change their club selection with every shot to better the accuracy of the shot result? In a sim business time is everything and goal #1 is to mitigate as much computer and adjustment interaction for the client to maximize game time. I hate having to mess with changing clubs through the experience like many. Thoughts?
My experience thus far has been with the Garmin Golf App, Awesome Golf, and GSPRO paired with the Garmin R10. Unfortunately I do not have an answer. Agreeably it would be a time waster to have to change clubs. However it would only take a few seconds with a golf sim control box using the Club Up/Down feature.

So as we play GSPRo with our garmin or any other launch monitor is it crucial to be changing the club selection each time to get the most out of the accuracy/result that the launch monitor and software produces?
I think that is personal preference. I have found that my irons are accurate based on real world golf experience. That is without changing the clubs in GSPRO. I'm not so sure about the woods and driver. I really just need to test it. Garmin says that spin and distance is 50% more accurate with RCT balls. Maybe that's more important. I just got 500 metal/reflective dots yesterday. I have watched several YT videos demonstrating that the dots do the same thing as the RCT balls. I am not willing to constantly pay for the RCT's plus I want to practice and play with my ball that I like. I am going to buy some RCT's as well however to see how they hold up. It just seems that I get anywhere from 200 to 400 shots and the golf ball is toast. I do want to test all of this and put a video out on it!
Yep RCT’s are expensive but necessary for garmin
I think more than anything once any ball gets “hairy” enough from too many shots on the cover it becomes too aggressive creating too much premature wear on the screens so trade off kind of thing. Push your balls further but wear out your expensive screen quicker
Definitely want to learn more on depending on what LM combination software package where or when it matters to change club selection to ensure the most accurate ball data and sim result per misc shot

you also dont need to reinstall to go from beta to stable. you jsut select stable in that menu and reopen and it will download stable
Nice! Thanks! I figured it out the hard way. Time equals experience for sure. It was important for me to share what shut me down. It really is pretty easy and configurable once you have it for a while.
Since I was stuck hitting tee shots over and over in practice mode, haha, what should I use to actually play the entire hole? Thanks!
You can place the ball anywhere in practice mode. Just click on the ball icon in practice mode on the upper left and click on the minimap to place it where you want it OR just go in like you're going to play the course and exclude all the other holes. Cheers!
Joe my simulator screen is 12ft wide and 8ft tall. Which projector do you recommend for best results with GSpro?
I ran an inquiry using BenQ's Golf Sim Projector Finder for you. Unfortunately It said to contact them directly! I will be buying a BenQ when I upgrade. I would run their tool and contact them to get an idea and go from there!
My screen is 12' x 9' and I have the Optoma GT1080HDR and it's great. But, you do need to be able to place it precisely as it doesn't have a lot of correction capabilities.
Just bought and downloaded GSPro...what do I need to do to get all the courses? Right now I only have a range and 2 default courses.
Click on "Local Match" then check the box that says "Show All Courses." You can then view all available courses or search for them. Once you uncheck the box it will only show the ones you have downloaded

What does putting normal, easy, hard mean? I understand why someone would want easy and normal but why would anyone want hard? Which setting is like real golf?
Unfortunately I am not able to putt with the Garmin. I don't know. I just upgraded my mat to a 5x5 Country Club Elite® by Real Feel. Now I could not putt if I wanted to! It's twice as thick as my landing mats. I will eventually have all the same throughout the sim but that will be probably another $2000!
