I wish people wouldn't criticize minhyuk so much. If you got surgery that directly affected your breathing. You wouldn't be on top of your game either. The fact is that he still practices just as hard and tries with his determination. Yes the beginners have gotten much better, the fact remains that they are doing the 25m not the 50m. Obviously the coaches feel that minhyuk still out ranks them in that factor. The production crew as well. Every week he is shaving time off of his original record. No one on the team ever puts him down and neither should you guys.

+Victoria N Michael Phelps only used what is now a Legal drug which does nothing but slow you down a bit and make you seem like your going to fast also it helps with pain in a way. Plus he didn't use it in his on season, only on his off season...
+Victoria N Y'know I was going to stay out of this, but you actually just insulted every athelete everywhere with that last comment. Even SungHoon. He did do the sport very seriously before & watching him through this you can see how happy he was to be doing it again. Yet here you are calling the world of sports an ugly world based off of the actions of a few that have used any drugs. Which remember it's the individuals choice to do those drugs, whereas you make it sound like just because you choose to swim means you automatically choose to do drugs or that someone forced it on them. Also, I live in one of the 2 states that did legalize pot & I can tell you there is no enhancing that it does. Yes you can build up a tolerance, which only makes a person able to not giggle at every little thing & actually concentrate. If anything, it is a lot like smoking cigarettes which damages your lungs breathing in a substance other than oxygen. I can appreciate & respect your opinion of him wanting to continue as an actor because you like his acting. But don't be posting replies with insulting, groundless, opinions. Like I said before, you insulted every athlete which includes SungHoon. Lastly, I only posted my original comment because he does have some talent for swimming & really seems to enjoy doing it. Way to take it to a dark, depressing, & rather rude place.
+Victoria N For the record, I don't use pot. Just everyone around me does which blows. It's not about which countries or nationalities are bigger culprits of using or not, so I'm not sure why you're bringing up how America chooses to police/solve drug problems as a whole. I used my own state as an example of how I have knowledge about pot in particular which was being referenced before. My overall point was not everyone in the sports field does drugs so to generalize the entire sports world as ugly based on the ones that have isn't quite fair. And before you call me delusional, try taking a look at yourself. You call the sports world "ugly" but have no problem with the entertainment industry? Take a look at how many actors, singers, & idols have been caught doing worse drugs, illegal deeds, & inhumane treatment of the talents. Again, not all of them do those things but going by your logic the entertainment world is a much uglier place. And you're right I don't know you, you don't know me. If you feel so passionate & heated over your opinion of the sports world then start your own comment.
Victoria N Some swimmers resort to using drugs to win, such as Michael Phelps.I can name a long list of all athletes that used drugs years after years in different sports. There is where you bashed athletes.....I can sincerely vouch that Mary Jane does not do anything, but gets you to focus a bit more and smile. Some of the smartest people in the world use it behind closed doors or opened. So before you talk about Michael Phelps not being able to win...You can use it for stress it doesn't stay in your system that long unless you use it back to back. Its not like he used Acid or other stuff cause if he did well he'd be faster than ever. In fact all you had to say is Sunghoon should be a swimmer that's it nothing else don't add drugs or anyone who used drugs as an athlete and please keep America out of your post if you do not live in the States...We do a lot of research and Pot cures not kills so peace.

Get well soon, Scary Diving Beetle!!! I'm proud of you! I'm sad that Jiwon had to get sick from overworking himself in swimming (he's got weak & unhealthy lungs), but this is still something he put so much effort and hard work in. He's so amazing! He truly deserves being called "Icon of Victory".
I saw the news that he coughed up blood. And m not sure if he went through surgery.

First i never really liked jiwon, because he is like everywhere, almost on every variety show. so at first i thought him again.
but he really made me think differently this time. he really was an ace in this team. The effort that he made for the team. he was really a hidden talent. so sad he got sick. he has pneunomia right now. but i can say that his illness wasnt for nothing!

I'm not really a big fan of him at first too. My first impression of him was a cocky, rude, and lazy man. But after see some other variety shows that show more side of him, I realize that he's just a big tsundere. Like he's really soft and warm on the inside.
Also, he knows how to position himself. When he supposed to work for the society (like helping villagers), dealing with kids, or even animals, he acts sincerely and works his ass off. Well, but ofc his character on shows is the crazy and temperamental man, so in other set, he will be that "annoying" man. But it's just for the show.
I recommend you to watch Kang's Kitchen and Naturally if you want to know more side of him. :D
