Since I am already a quite advanced plant keeper, I dont seek information but entertainment and your complex personality provides that. ;) i dont mind if you redo your cabinet, repot your hoyas, philos or Terrarium plants. I Just enjoy you sitting there doing your chores, while I do mine, and listening to you as if we were in the same room. Therefore i also prefer the camera angle were I can See your face. ;) probably Not Always easy in a small room, but definitely more to my liking than Just seeing your hands. By the way, on my gog (green on green) monstera adansonii the stunning Variation only shows after some time too! The leaves seem fully green when unfurling, hardly a hint of Variation but as the days and weeks go by it gets more pronounced and dramatic. Gorgeous! 😍
I always watch Hoya of the Week and value the educational content. However, I adore the long plant chores videos and talking about more than one hoya. It's a conundrum! Essentially, I vote for the most content possible (with the exception of accidental underwear features)
Listening to you talk about how you would have disappeared forever if you had uploaded the vid with the hole in your shorts had me laughing so hard. You really crack me up. Keep up the good work! I don't mind your scattered, all over-ness at all. Reminds me of me & how I talk about my plants when it's with someone who has a clue about plants, actually. Videos don't have to be "organized" or planned with neat themes to be worth watching- true story. 👍

Hi Miro, “somebody” introduced me to the world of Episcia and so I found a little one locally, tried my growing it for a week and decided to buy 24 more beautiful varieties! I repotted those into black self watering wall planters. I bought a 2nd Milsbo tall, 1st is for Hoya and some micro orchids. (I love Vanda nana!). Anyway, this one I installed black grids all around and is all with hanging episcia. It looks amazing and they love it so far! And I thought before that , I would only buy Hoya. Thank you for introducing me to these! I love any content you post!
I love Hoya of the week, you give such valuable info for the specific Hoyas, which is also easy to relocate when wanted/needed. However, if it helps you more to do plant chores maybe you can add in the same info when you are doing plant chores and then add the Hoya names to the title? Just so that it is easy to find the information Im so with you on the plant chores multiplying…. I make a list, painstakingly finish it, only to instantly make a new list 😅 But hey, it usually means they are doing well 🪴 Things like foreheads, mouths, legs and shoulders are perfect tools for repotting and retrellissing, what would it be like of we could only use our hands? 😊 If the poles stay wobbly… ziptie them to the pot? I usually get the ones with a thick hollow pvc tube in the middle and then plug that in the round raised bit in the centre of my clear pots, it helps a little Nice space saving on that Billietiae. I used to do something similar with my Paraiso Verde to make it look more full I am curious about your idea for hanging your Hoyas with a hoop trellis! Plant chores: I watered some plants, watched part of the vid, watered some more plants, watched part of the vid and now will have to put the plants back (Its waay too warm to do all at once!) And yes, clothing quality is declining a lot, so frustrating!
I love your Hoya of the week but I love your “chore” videos because I do my chores while listening to you do yours 😂. I also like the deep dives into specific Hoyas as well because it’s hard to get in depth content verses fluffy Hoya info like proping and their “rare” Carnosa freckles (eye roll)
Honestly, you can post whatever and I'd watch because it's you. But I plant shores and ramblings are great company and a good way to get to know both you and your plants. ❤
The plant chores that I did this weekend vs. the plant chores that I planned to do this weekend are two entirely different things. I planned to repot 5-7 plants. I have done zero. I did re-trellis five hoya -- three of which I planned on doing, two of which I didn't. I started to re-organize and move some things around, got frustrated and irritated with it, and stopped. So, yeah. I've done better. haha. Regarding Wednesdays, I think I like chore videos a little more than spotlight videos, but I'm happy to tune in for either!

I would love to learn things like what are assention numbers and why do Hoya have them. The thing about registering clones. Maybe I'm the only one that doesn't know that stuff and wants to. You could name the video, "Whats in a Hoya name?" or something like that. Anyways I may add to this comment. I'm only half way thru the video at this point.

That plant looked so much better upright! When i have had an unstable pole, i have actually put an attractive rock at the bottom of both sides of the pole to stabilize it.

For future videos: I love plant chores combined with fun facts and this chaos gardening/filming style is great! 😊 I call my outside garden my Pippi Langstrump garden because that is the place where I do everything all at once so your way of doing things is so familiar
Thanks for that feedback! Yes, I always try to include some information even in the repotting style of the video, the only thing that is hard is making that searchable, so when people actually look for that info online, it is harder to find :) In that sense, highlight videos on a specie are better.
I'm not a fan of variegation but your new philodendron is stunning. I love the chaotic vids. They make me feel better about how I do things. Knowing ita not just me is magic hehe. I have a lot of plant jobs. But I have been doing other things which are less fun hehe Have fun

I think hoya of the week is a Miro specialty. Replacing it with multiple hoya spotlights would be fine but please continue showing us your more unusual hoyas. Otherwise we will never know of their existence and whether they are suitable for our situation. I also have both a Billi and an Attapoense. I really do like them alot, as you said they are very forgiving plants.
Don't worry, I will definitely keep showing all of the Hoyas, no matter what the video topic is. You are bound to see them all and to hear me rant about them (or praise them, if the praise was deserved) :D
As far as changing what content your Wednesday video contains, I’ll leave that up to you. But I want to say, regardless of, I will watch it immediately because I’m just glad you even make 2 videos a week! I look forward to watching your videos so much. Just saying I realy like plant chores and when you trellis plants I just learn so much I need to retrellis a carnosa just haven’t got motivated yet lol

I have my monstera and my fiddle leaf fig and my china doll outside and I am worried about where to put them when it starts getting cold here.. um I am not sure but Amy @PerkyPlants or Emma from good Growing have a steak with a plastic piece the has like octopus arms specifically for aroids crazy stems
I love hoya of the week! But you gotta do whatever it takes to keep the view numbers up, so i say go for it and try something new! I mean releasing the ripped shorts footage would probably at least temporarily increase the number of views, but at the cost of your dignity 😅
Oh, it's okay, some of those videos did really great! I am sure it will get traction over time. In general, I think, for everyone on UA-cam, the views are kind of low, so we have to think of a way to bring people what they want to watch :)
i love hoya of the week. But you have to do what you have to do. I watered my plants, although I still have a couple left to do, I ran out of energy for now. I need to downsize (but I also have some new hoyas on the way, sigh).
I will definitely do Hoya spotlight in one form or another. Maybe it won't be a video like Hoya of the week, but perhaps, I will do plant chores with 3-4 hoyas and then I can talk about them more in depth in those videos :) Also, I relate so much to the whole "I am downsizing, but I also have plants coming to me in the mail" thing. :D
