Best Album they've ever done. Best Concert I've ever been to. Best Song on the album... Bigger Hole to Fill. I hope they come back to Seattle in '08. ***Concert Spoiler*** They opened with "Bigger Hole to Fill"
you're both right and wrong about that. it are the hives themselves writing their songs, but randy fitzsimmons IS one of the hives, so when they're talking about the hives, they include him in their meaning. and it IS a good thing that they write their songs themselves.
My top 5: 1: Bigger Hole To Fill - I just think this song is dynomite. No other way to explain it. 2: You got it all wrong - As Pelle said, one of the best punk songs they ever recorded. 3: Hey Little World - Just them experimenting in their prime! 4: Try it Again - Loved it the moment I herd Pelle's opening line. 5: Won't be long - Nice power pop tune. Pelle singing like Iggy pop was great!! Do you know where I can get my hands on "Hell NO"? PS: Punkrock city morning! Great Song!
The new album is absolutely fantastic...but like "claya1" said, it takes a few spins before you realize it. There's just so many awesome songs it's hard to choose a favourite. I have not been able to take it out from my cd-player after buying it a week ago. They outdid themselves. It's a killer album.
Well, to me The Hives simply can't do no wrong, but I still 'Giddy Up!' was pushing it ... LOL! THE HIVES ARE LAW, though! My favs are: Try Again, You Dress Up For Armageddon, Won't be long (that was a little Indie for them, but it happens to be that I like Indie =D), Bigger Hole to Fill (the same), Well Alright! Ah! Love it all!
the hives fucking rock! this album is the best album of 2007 in my opinion! not to be mean but if they took of some tracks like "giddy up" and "puppet on a string" i think this album couldve been the best album of the 20th century, but its close enough!
Imagining Nicholaus imitating a horse makes "Giddy Up" ten times better.
their enthusiasm is just astounding.
Best Album they've ever done.
Best Concert I've ever been to.
Best Song on the album... Bigger Hole to Fill.
I hope they come back to Seattle in '08.

Chris: Pelle, wake up!
Pelle: Yeah...
yeah, that's true.
there is too much mystery created around him he has become more of a myth than a believed story
Pelle is so damn HOT!!!!

i agree puppet in a string is okay but i cant stand giddy up its not their type if music...they should definatly go and make a live CD as well
they look really tired..
They probably just got done doing a concert. They go all out live.
