Thanks Glenys, really enjoyed the vid and also your take on ICM. I also like my subject to be a bit identifiable in the end result rather than too abstract. Love your dog by the way 😊
Fantastic video, thank you. Very inspiring not least because me and tripods don't mix! Also I only discovered the term ICM after you mentioned it elsewhere, looked it up, revelation! Wakefield is also a revelation! How amazing you have such fantastic woods in the area. But feel inspired to make the most of what I have in my local area. Thanks Glenys. Can't wait for the next one!
Thank you Barb glad you enjoyed it 👍👍 I'm really lucky to have it on my doorstep and it doesn't get over used by us togs, I might have spoiled that now 😔 get wiggling that camera girl 😘
@@GlenysGarnett Thanks for your help me and my son found the bluebells and made a short youtube video 🙂 if you want to check it out I'll leave you the link thanks again 😁👌 ua-cam.com/video/c872ahbnM7U/v-deo.html
Great vid, Glenys. That looks like a fabulous place. Lovely images. Which Fuji is that you’re shooting with? I just got the xt20 as an early birthday present and I’m loving the focus peaking.
Thank you Sue. I use the XT2, been using Fuji about 5 years now and love it, yes focus peaking a biggie with me especially with macro and when you have the vintage lenses on. The lenses are fantastic.
Glenys Garnett I can see why you love the Fuji. The only negative I’ve found at the moment is that the PASM modes are reached in a different way - which actually seems quite logical but until I’ve drilled it into the old noggin, I feel a bit clumsy 🤪
@@suewoollard6506 here's a tip, I think it works the same on both cameras, on the top dial you have a T setting this sticks you in full manual mode. Set the histogram to show up in viewfinder. There is a little dial on the back, this adjusts shutter speed. I just keep my eye on the histogram in the viewfinder and just wind the dial until I'm happy with exposure. No messing in the menus, dial on top for iso if you need to bump it up. Makes your workflow fast and intuitive and of course wysiwyg. The T dial also means you can use very long exposures above 30 secs without having to work out how long because again wysiwyg.
Absolutely wonderful.
Thank you for taking us with you on your walk and for showing us ICM. Your pictures are beautiful. I love them all. 😊
You are welcome Chris thank you for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
