HW makes shiny toys for grown-up who chase the name of the company or childhood memories. Rational collectors who can resist Mattel's FOMO business strategy will find a new level of collecting in companies that makes detalied models with higher QC at lower prices.
Exactly. I’d rather spend $20 on a kaido car at this point then to constantly make trips to your Walmart targets and krogers and whatnot only to realize employees or scalpers take the good stuff before the boxes even hit the pegs.

If sellers on Amazon selling Kaidohouse vehicles would be for real, I might try again buying one, but my first purchase of a Kaidohouse product... sealed in a factory box, had a used Racing Champions Diet Coke 1990 Chevy 1500 truck inside instead of what it was supposed to have. I want to know where you buy yours from. I don't trust the Amazon purchases when it comes to diecast... especially when it's in a box that has shrink wrap on it and it turns out to be repackaged and made to look new... like what I received.
Kaido House makes detail oriented products. But on their website the disclaimer says that the chemicals they use cause different types of problems on the reproductive organs.
Some of the bodykits are a bit much for me as well but it's part of the specific style they're going for. The quality and design of everything else more than makes up for it, imo.
I ordered this one and now I'm very sad. I dont receive mine untill monday. But,WOW ! This looks horrible. The stance is all wrong, was not expecting that. So now I'm not excited. 😮 Don't know what to say but, what a waste of money. I think i will get the drill out and do maybe a wheel swap and see if i can change it. Lol, we will see.
Waiting for this to restock in India..but sadly mini gt guys don't seem to be bothered much ...no response on insta...Glen Chou does reply to messages and also on mailing them twice they mention that the stocks have already been distributed and there is nothing they could do about it!....but I see old stocks of mini gt coming in different colors which doesn't make sense at all ..y release older models with different colors rather than listening to hobbyist and re stocking/ releasing these models which so many people have missed on purchasing....
