Well it depends, it is some of our very own farmers that are feeding this to their cows, so no, I will not blindly support our farmers, I am willing to support farmers who truly do feed us healthy natural free from Bovaer or Rumin8 meat and dairy. if some farmers are willing to use us as Guinea pigs for profit I will not buy anything from arla, or the farmers who supply them. Consumers should be able to make an informed choice, everything should be clearly labelled. I hope there is a very clear list of farmers that are bovaer free
@@audrey-654 Most dairy and some beef farmers have to have a contract to be able to sell their milk/ meat and if they don't adhere to the terms of the contract ( Arla is one example) then they lose the contract which means they haven't got a buyer for their milk/ meat or will have to find another contract with a different wholesaler I guess you'd put in layman's term. Arla milk contracts are difficult to get and Arla dairy farms and meat producers have some of the stricter standards to adhere to when it comes to animal welfare,so this is not going to help farmers one bit. If they don't use this additive I'm their feed rations, then they are most likely going to be losing their contracts. Damned if they do, damned if they don't and this is why we should try and support local farmers if they produce and bottle their own milk on site because they will have more freedom at the moment. The dairy industry particularly has had it hard over the past few years, this is definitely going to end with lots of farms going under. It's been planned for sure. ' They' don't want farming dairy or otherwise. Well all be forced to eat lab grown 3d printed ' meat ' substitute and lab grown veg etc.

In the smaller shops have different producers. Check there contact details and call them, ask them if they are feeding there dairy cows on Bovaer, if they can assure there not using this feed, buy baby, buy. If they are, it will just sit on the self.
For all those thinking you can buy organic milk or dairy products may want to reconsider. I used to drive milk tankers on farm collections in the SW of the UK. There are nowhere near enough organic farms to make it viable to collect and process the milk separately. Organic dairy products can only be purchased if they are produced on the farm itself. End of.

Meat and veg products can easily be kept seperate in the logistics chain but liquids in small volumes......just doesn't happen, you would be paying extortionate prices for a pint of milk if they had to keep the organic seperate from the rest. And therfore this applies to cheese yoghurt and so on. I have a small Olive farm in southern Spain and we harvest ourselves, transport to the mill ourselves and only use a mill thay presses from the organic farms. They also press each farm individually so we know the oil is single source.This is the only way we can guarantee our oil is 100% organic. With commercially bought dairy products from major production chains, this is nothing but a lie.
My concern is for development of young children exposed to this will they develop properly, or will the companies realise when an entire generation doesn't enter pubity, then bill gets his mass population decrease he wants

I picked up some milk today from a petrol station, the producer was Lanchester Dairies in the north east, looked up there number on Google and give them a called. They told me there not participating and I said thank you I will enjoy drinking your milk knowing its safe. I very sure if all start to enquire about this and they have to keep assuring us and if arla milk ends up sitting on the self going out of date then that will send some sort of message in regards to this.

Sainsbury's have said their own milk is from UK farmers but of course they still stock Arla so I suspect their own brand lactose free is from Arla as I can't find any UK farms locally that supply lactose free dairy products I find that astonishing & worrying the farmers need to update themselves as to the what people need & want

I like you video, very good points put forwards. If you look at the food standard agency's report, particularly section 4.0 'conclusions' , the 'safety assessment' state that the product can be considered safe at the maximum doze.... It was concluded the additive poses an acceptable risk to the environment (despite the listed health concerns for human health when handled). Never mind any possible human errors that are bound to happen when it is being administered to animals and FSA really do their main assessment from the data they have been provided by the applicant!? There is a lot of 'not so certain words' used in the report...'should...considered...could' Not very reassuring for sure....to that reads as 'best guess of the outcome'.
Unfortunately Muller is part of this too. Don't forget it will be used in their Sainsburys own brand ready meals, cheese, cream etc. The Soil Association have confirmed Bovear is not allowed in Organic soil association labeled products.

Apparently Mc Q u e e n s dairies aren't using this stuff, but I don't think they deliver to my area yet.
