- 07/31/2012 The day that I met my LDR boyfriend, and now we're married. Those were the best days of my life, and I couldn't be happier than I am right now because of him. He changed my life and I know that we complete each other. And that's all that matters. I will never give up on us.

He proposed 2 months later, and 2 months after that we were married. we're now going on 6 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids together :-)......long distance relationships do have happy endings

I think people who meet online and make it work are the most romantic people. The amount of patience and love that it takes. Being away for a couple months for a job can trigger divorces. So whenever people tell me 'LDRS don't work or they're fake' i'm just like whatever my own and others experiences prove Ldrs have the purest love.

My boyfriend and I have been dating online for over 5 years now, he in OK and me in NJ...his crazy mother kept us from meeting for 4 of those years...but with the help of my parents we did get to meet, three times now (he stayed a whole summer one of those times) and this summer we are getting a house together. LDR can work and it makes me happy seeing people not even hesitate when they meet their lover from online in real life. Seeing him for the first time isn't a feeling I'll forget.

Omg that's so cute! I was in a long distance relationship for 2 years thinking we were going to be together forever but it was so hard to meet and we argued sometimes. So in the end we didn't make it unfortunately, but I'm so happy for you!!

i've seen and watched many LDR 1st time meeting vids, but yours was the most touchy one i've ever seen, my hart was broken once and never thought of loving again, yet in a way, your vid made me rethink about it, and one more thing, don't mean to babel but i've never believed in a spark of love, but both of you was SO obvious in your eyes, like you both had your share of relations and finally you've found each other.

Think of it this way, when people are close together they rush things and I get into relationships way before they probably should. This way you get to know a person soul for weeks, months, and in some cases for years there is no way to rush it. I actually think even though your heart hurts it's a very good way to get to know people

I met my boyfriend on Instagram, we were following each other and then he just commented on one of my pictures, we had a conversation there and then we just decided to talk somewhere else. We clicked right away! It was crazy. Anyway, he came to me after like a year (he came on valentines day this year). It went very well so after 40 days he came back again! And this summer we're going to meet in thailand. Btw he lives in California and I live in Sweden!!! The distance is very hard but it's worth it. I love him more than anything.
