I am a student of Go Cloud Architects and I want to let you know this is by far the best course on the internet especially for the money. This team actually cares and works so well with you it should be something you pay 10x for. Plus unlike college they actually help you get a job that pays. If you are reading this and on the fence I promise it is the best investment you will make!
I really enjoy how Michael Gibbs describes the Cloud Architect role with simplicity and clarity. It's a business relationship, business solutions and leadership role requiring well-developed soft skills +plus tech. So great to know: Design, Print, Sell!
I think I get it now. So as a cloud architect, you are essentially a type of business development specialist in which your expertise is cloud solutions. Am I correct?
This video actually breaks down how to get a cloud architect job in terms easy enough for anyone to understand. I like how it's emphasized that you don't touch the technology, but you do have to know how it works.
Oz Obi, that's a great question! Actually there are and I could do it, which means others can definitely do this! Practice by explaining a technology that you love, I for example love the functionality of a content delivery network, a CDN! So find something small like this, explain what it is, explain how it works, and explain why and where you would use /benefit from it. Record yourself and watch back critically. Please watch the videos Mike shares with us,, he is my absolute role model in tech,, and if you would have the opportunity to join our Go Cloud Family,, you would probably see him as a role model in many other lovely aspects. Good question Oz!
this job sounds like the hardest job in the world. gotta be a geek that’s extremely charismatic, tech lead, team lead, deep technical knowledge, public speaker, designer, writer. good luck 😭
I've been successful as have countless others. If it's what you desire to be then it is definitely worth it. But there are many other roles for those who have other desires and passions. It's all about what is the right fit for you.
No. Please don’t spend your time on the A+. The A+ has nothing to do with cloud architecture. It’s more about PC repair. To learn how to become a cloud architect attend this free webinar my.demio.com/ref/01ppStEkIUVxsXXj
Solid piece, Mike on the relevant skills to become an expert Cloud Architect. Thank you for the Cloud Architect skills training program you are providing to help many transition to this sought after Tech Career. Regards
No. My degrees are in healthcare. We have gotten many people cloud architect jobs with no degrees. We have even gotten someone a cloud architect job who didn’t finish high school. See video below. ua-cam.com/video/NOcCg-OWlhI/v-deo.html Having a degree is always a positive especially if it’s in business. Although it’s not required.
To be effective the role a cloud architect needs significant business acumen. Now it can be learned in an MBA program or learned in our training program- as we place a big emphasis on these skills in our training. There are also executive training programs that also teach these skills. I went to both executive training programs and completed an MBA Without business acumen and lease skills it’s not possible to be an effective cloud architect, enterprise architect or solutions architect So this is critical training for cloud architects.

Do I need a Batchelor degree in computer science or similar field to become a cloud architect? Or does it increase the starting salary base?
No. My degrees are in healthcare.
We have gotten many people cloud architect jobs with no degrees.
We have even gotten someone a cloud architect job who didn’t finish high school.
See video below.

Having a degree is always a positive especially if it’s in business.
Although it’s not required.
Could I study and work at the same time?
Of course. We have many students who work and complete our program successfully.
So in summary, cloud architects should have executive MBA training too.
