As a suggestion I think you should make a video about to people fighting but one is dynamic and the other is stuff to really see the difference
4:06 when you have a background it’s really hard to see the onion skin so there is an option that says show onion skin in front which is really good when it comes to foot placement also you want your figure to have a fair amount of segments so it doesn’t look stiff and you should stretch the limbs of your figure when you are working on your animation.Good vid :D.
Yea lol, look at the part i turned on the guide lines. In the section that pops up, theres an option too set the onions skins to “show infront.” Of the background :)
YOO thanks for the onion tip, never knew that was a thing.
It keeps annoying me when people say onion skin because I always just hear onion
@@garfeltrealtbh bro what?
@@MrOnyx I have a question,so you know, when everybody is a beginner,we usually suck and I am one of them.So I have a few questions,so first of all(please don't talk about the way I use(,) ),I want to know what onion skin is and is it really useful.second of all,do I always have to move all segments in the animation, what I am trying to ask is simply just is it a must to move all segments.Third of all, should I shake the camera in the direction that the stickfigure is running to,like for example:a stickfigure jumps up,the camera either follows it or after the stickfigure leaves the camera's render distance, after approximately two seconds later,it cuts to where the stickfigure has landed at.Another example, should I move the camera based of the movement of the stickfigure's head,e.g:It's head moves up and down while jogging, the camera will do the same. All these questions are only for one reason...MY ANIMATIONS ARE TOO GODDAMN ROBOTIC,SLOW AND FREAKING BLAND(or I could say blank maybe)!
Not bad!! thanks for the tips man!!
This is the best tutorial I've seen❤
Omg finally a tips video now I don't have to make one xd
Ev la senpai pls make on on effects
Man that actually very helpful thx for the video

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for making this video before I watched this video I couldn't even make 10 fps animation smoothly but after learning from this video i was able to make 18 fps fight so thank you! ❤
I was animating at 10 - 14 fps then randomly changed to 24 without learning lol then i just randomly got better
Thank you bro this FR helped
Number two helped a lot and I've noticed I've improved over the years and u might upload all of my little "test" to show how much I've improved
This helped a lot.. FINNALY A TUTORIAL THAT IS UNDERSTANDABLE!!!
This was very helpful thank you very much
As a suggestion I think you should make a video about two people fighting but one is dynamic and the other is stuff to really see the difference
Very useful thanks Mr Onyx
Bro thanks to your tutorials i think i get good at animating
a good tip i also have is doing a fight scene or jump etc is starting in real life! record your self doing something, study it and try to figure out the right poses!
I found you're video on youtube and got inspired on practicing and doing some animation also.. Thank you for this tutorial. I know I can be a good animator someday like you
Are u a good animator like him now?
This tutorial helped me :D
Tip #2 is actually a really good tip - because if you think about actual people, when they are doing an action, A LOT more than just one limb is being moved. Example: sitting down. What do you do when you sit down? You put your bum on the seat, right? Well, thats not just it…you also move your legs to sit down, adjust your torso, sometimes move your arms, etc.
Wowwwww verified
yooo man thxfor the video!
Thanks so much. Your a life saver
Thanks man I will practice all tips I want to be a good animator on stick nodes Thanks man
Tysm I Subscribed!
Thx this helped A LOT
Thank you it helps me alot
Thanks for that make every stick man body move when each frame, my animation looks decent now!
Your bruh animation is Beautiful👌
tysm will try (EDIT: WORKS AMAZING TYSM MY FIGHTING ANIM IS AMAZING AND SIMPLE as another tip for barrages make the barrage and go back and make it more dynamic by moving nodes around to representing power and speed)

This is the first tutorial that really helped me. Now I made a guy kick without him looking like he froze to death 😂
Ahh, another master that shall teach me his ways
This helps so much
Thx for teaching me
I think that a good way to make a smooth animation is by recreating the attacks that you do,like record a video of you attacking and recreate it
I would but I have no idea how to combat irl 😂
@@Noobs385you could use action movies and take moves from fight scenes possibly
Thanks dude
Damn this is what you call a tutorial. Others would just say "be good" and call it a day.
Lmao
Fr bruh
@@yourdadashes1231 dads* since you've done a grammatical error, your not my fathers ashes 🤓

"That your Stickfigure IS a human being"
Me making them an absolute alien: 😳
You motivate me to make my animations, thanks!
OOH thank YOU MAN GOD BLESS YOU
Huuuhhhh i find this confusing Didnt help one bit -_-
@@ARandomChristianGuy because your lazy anims lol
Another thing to get better at animating: Analyze your mistakes! If you don't study on how you went wrong, you won't improve! It's good to analyze on your wrong doings because it can help track any mistakes present in your animation, so you can find and understand where and how you got wrong, and then you can work on fixing that!
Dang, thanks for the tutorial man. Can you give away some default black figures on discord? Can't find that many good ones. Nice tutorial!
First one's pretty accurate.
Him: ur stick figure is human
Me chilling with my sonic the hedgehog stick figure
“Always keep in mind that your stick figure is a human being”
Me, with my alien blob: **SWEATS PROFUSELY**
Me, with my dinos: press x to “same”
Me when Godzilla and animatronics:
This helped
Secret tip number 4: just learn to to properly use tweening it may take a minute but it works yes it's lazy but it helps alot
Bro really hit a 90 degree no scop at the start of the vid
Mr Onyx ,I have a question,so you know, when everybody is a beginner,we usually suck and I am one of them.So I have a few questions,so first of all(please don't talk about the way I use(,) ),I want to know what onion skin is and is it really useful.second of all,do I always have to move all segments in the animation, what I am trying to ask is simply just is it a must to move all segments.Third of all, should I shake the camera in the direction that the stickfigure is running to,like for example:a stickfigure jumps up,the camera either follows it or after the stickfigure leaves the camera's render distance, after approximately two seconds later,it cuts to where the stickfigure has landed at.Another example, should I move the camera based of the movement of the stickfigure's head,e.g:It's head moves up and down while jogging, the camera will do the same. All these questions are only for one reason...MY ANIMATIONS ARE TOO GODDAMN ROBOTIC,SLOW AND FREAKING BLAND(or I could say blank maybe)!
How do you make effects like when some one is teleporting or running really fast could you do a tutorial on that if you haven't already
LOL ima 360 that like button
You helped me
Bro you need more views and subs
I will subscribe
I use tween to make my animation better. It's REEAALLLYY good for me. Its the best actually. My animations become very good with Tweening. I use tween frame at 5. You can put it at how many you want. The max is 8.
Am not using tween becuz of movieclip or ay just untween frame
I use tween too! I would suggest having tweened frames to at least 1, and have your animation fps to 15 or 20 max!
@@nurkann_1626 It’s in the video
I use tweening too but it then starts to look too much smooth and robotic.
@VOID-_-. Not really, I use tweening and edit the tweened frames to fit what I want more, but they are super helpful if you want to save time.
You can use tweening as well since stick nodes allows tweening
yeah just don’t go fucking crazy with it though
Nice Now i can animate properly
How to be good at animating already be a pro
Is that bruce lee?😂
Your so very cool you will teach some Noobs but if they always practice they now pro me I'm noob of animate
the intro sound is so funny😂😂
Is this with tweeling on or off? Bc I like to do it with tween on.
0:17
my brain: very much yes
Thx
are we going to talk about the banger music
One question do I have to delete the normal stick nodes so I can get my figures in stick nodes pro?
subbed
Question how do u animate a hook punch not a straight cross or a jab but a hook can u make a tutorial
Text : watch till the end for suprise
Me: *skips to the end*
do u have to use tweening or non tweening
2:33 "BRUH"
Onyx- "What did you observe?"
I felt like i was back in 2017 throughout this entire video
Wow its been so long since i watched this
Finally 😄😄
is this with the pro one or the old one
First i need to know that mod second that shot to the like button was OP the like button should be terrified
But how much movement should my stickfigure do before adding a frame that’s the hard part for me
me making a godzilla animation: tf
Can't wait to see that giant lizard do round house kicks and backhand slaps
