4:06 when you have a background it’s really hard to see the onion skin so there is an option that says show onion skin in front which is really good when it comes to foot placement also you want your figure to have a fair amount of segments so it doesn’t look stiff and you should stretch the limbs of your figure when you are working on your animation.Good vid :D.
Yea lol, look at the part i turned on the guide lines. In the section that pops up, theres an option too set the onions skins to “show infront.” Of the background :)
@@MrOnyx I have a question,so you know, when everybody is a beginner,we usually suck and I am one of them.So I have a few questions,so first of all(please don't talk about the way I use(,) ),I want to know what onion skin is and is it really useful.second of all,do I always have to move all segments in the animation, what I am trying to ask is simply just is it a must to move all segments.Third of all, should I shake the camera in the direction that the stickfigure is running to,like for example:a stickfigure jumps up,the camera either follows it or after the stickfigure leaves the camera's render distance, after approximately two seconds later,it cuts to where the stickfigure has landed at.Another example, should I move the camera based of the movement of the stickfigure's head,e.g:It's head moves up and down while jogging, the camera will do the same. All these questions are only for one reason...MY ANIMATIONS ARE TOO GODDAMN ROBOTIC,SLOW AND FREAKING BLAND(or I could say blank maybe)!
a good tip i also have is doing a fight scene or jump etc is starting in real life! record your self doing something, study it and try to figure out the right poses!
Tip #2 is actually a really good tip - because if you think about actual people, when they are doing an action, A LOT more than just one limb is being moved. Example: sitting down. What do you do when you sit down? You put your bum on the seat, right? Well, thats not just it…you also move your legs to sit down, adjust your torso, sometimes move your arms, etc.
Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for making this video before I watched this video I couldn't even make 10 fps animation smoothly but after learning from this video i was able to make 18 fps fight so thank you! ❤
I found you're video on youtube and got inspired on practicing and doing some animation also.. Thank you for this tutorial. I know I can be a good animator someday like you
tysm will try (EDIT: WORKS AMAZING TYSM MY FIGHTING ANIM IS AMAZING AND SIMPLE as another tip for barrages make the barrage and go back and make it more dynamic by moving nodes around to representing power and speed)

I use tween to make my animation better. It's REEAALLLYY good for me. Its the best actually. My animations become very good with Tweening. I use tween frame at 5. You can put it at how many you want. The max is 8.

As a suggestion I think you should make a video about to people fighting but one is dynamic and the other is stuff to really see the difference
Number two helped a lot and I've noticed I've improved over the years and u might upload all of my little "test" to show how much I've improved

Am not using tween becuz of movieclip or ay just untween frame
I use tween too! I would suggest having tweened frames to at least 1, and have your animation fps to 15 or 20 max!
@@nurkann_1626 It’s in the video
I use tweening too but it then starts to look too much smooth and robotic.
@VOID-_-. Not really, I use tweening and edit the tweened frames to fit what I want more, but they are super helpful if you want to save time.
Does splitting the character help with a better animation and control. I see some people doing it but am not sure
I learnt everything from your channel
ngl NAF's animation looks like recorded by irl body movements
