people talk about her nasally voice as if it's new to her or something... that's been her voice since she first debuted in 2000... that's what makes her voice so unique recognizable not just in korea but all of asia. and of course it's all preference when it comes to what people like or dislike and both have the right to say what they think. all i can say is that having your own color is always better than not, which is what makes her so much respectable than majority of other k-pop singers.

Despite her unique voice, there are a lot of emotions that she was delivering through this live performance. I felt the thrill sent through my body and I guess that's why I keep listening to it. On the other hand, there are a lot of artists with powerful voices and impeccable skills but aren't able to deliver the emotions BoA is doing in this version. Nevertheless, being able to connect with artists is something on a more personal level for everyone, so her version may work for some but seems off to others. I love it though.
If we disregard the accent, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST COVER OF “Love The Way You Lie”.. The VOICE, EMOTIONS, STAGE PRESENCE (shes just standing but the presence 🔥), ARTIST are all ON POINT 👍🏻🔥🙌🏻

Every few months I find it again and fall in love with it all over. Back then I didnt love this song by Rihanna ,but BoA really made me love this song. Also maybe because live a song like this sounds better
her english is so clear. i dont agree with most people saying her voice is less prettier to listen. cause now her voice gives a rock vibe to it she just has to learn to lower her notes. she did improve alot since.
