i guess it may depend on your application - maybe the Venue pre-amp/D.I is better on avoiding feedback in a live situation; although every time i make a compromise to the guitar's full potential- the song never comes out as good either- so, that said- i'd opt for the live miking- or on-board condenser mic- and piezo under saddle combo pickup system - which sounds as good as it can get to my ears- I personally prefer the LL Baggs on-board I-mix system for the truest natural tone- ever but I admit it's more work- to install

you haven't mentioned the phase inverter and the battery status check feature.... both quite useful features
