Thank you for posting this video. Currently price difference between two unites, on amazon co uk is near £60, I don't think there is a point getting LS470W, as LS460W delivers very much the same quality video.
Basically the same, only benefit I see is the 470 is better when the headlights are the only light available. When street lights and oncoming traffic lights are around they're basically identical.

Лично мне показалось, что новинка лучше и дальше отрабатывает ночное видео в движении, а в статике видео с 460 выглядит более чётко(интересно в каких настройках стоял EV? У 460 обычно EV -1). Разница в угле обзора, думаю, не столь существенные плюс.
I think the important is the polarizer filter of LS470W, I bought my LS470W with a filter, and it works excellently to solve the annoying reflections on windscreen, so far I am satisfied with it, maybe with some extreme circumstances it can show the value better.
+Montez Andrés many thanks for your comment, basically the CPL filter indeed remove reflections, but in some cases especially when car has dark dashboard that CPL filter is unnecessary, also the CPL filter increase exposure level and because of that is hard to catch fast moving object sharp (even in bright day). Simply try with it and without it, I'm quite sure that you will be see differences ;)
You can see license plates earlier with the older model. But they pretty much the same so is it worth it paying that much more for only a little difference?

Ты в 470 вручную выставил максимум 12800 или ты просто указал, что он может выдавать 12800? Просто я выбираю, какой взять. В данном примере номера намного лучше видно на 460. То есть вопрос в чем - это у 470 сейчас была автонастройка такая или принудительно максимум 12800, а при автонастройке должно быть лучше?
Yehh, LS460 are better picture quality compare to the 470 model. The white balance are a quite better in 470, but that's all. 460 v. 470 have differens view angel, but this video clip are in same wide format. Some fake recording? Also, an ISO at max 12800 as 470 feature give a huge task for engineering crew to fix noise produced in the image. For me it is without doubt a work piece that is missing in the 470 model.

I still have a LS460W and I'm very happy to have it!!!Superb quality!!!If you have a 460 one I think no need to buy a 470!IMHO

Nice comparison. I think the LS470W edges the LS460W. I like the CPL option on the LS470w+ even more.

The LS470W+ is the same price as the LS460W was a year ago. Yes, the LS460W is less now, but only because it's the older model.
strange, but for me the older is better, sharper picture and high ISO is not worth the money, too much noise there!

If there is a difference you need a sharp eye to pick it. Best value would be to stick with the cheaper LS460.

i've been using 460 for 2 years, and I see it is still better than 470
