I'm not sure why Dean doesnt like this version. Sometimes simpler is better. And something about the simplicity and the way its sung here... reminds me of Tom Petty or something. Has that classic feel. And its perfect IMO.
I was wondering about this for months but I'm certain I have it figured out. Aaron is double tracked for the entire song, Mickey comes in only during the chorus with the upper register harmonies (his part doesn't seem to be double tracked). So basically it's 2 Gene's through all the verses and choruses + one backup Deaner in the chorus
Listening to this during the 2024 Eclipse, very fitting 🥲
Fire...learning to play on organ ...after seeing 2024 eclipse 🍻
Havent listened to this in god knows how long. For some reason my head suddenly couldnt stop singing it... All hail the Boognish
Great work. Linda approves!
Linda, the sexy dancer?

Do you think you could do a combination of the Ween version and the Dean Ween Group version?
Don't take too long to stop 🛑 and smell the 🌹 Roses.

sooooooo much better than the DWG version, i'm sorry but it's true
Is this Gener and Deaner multi-tracked on lead vocals? It sounds like both of them during the verses

Its definitely both of them throughout the song, their voices are just panned differently in the chorus
Yeah it does sound like both of them
