Great video as usual. keep it up. I always like your intros and the detailed nature of your content. How much is the X100 Pro in India when converted into US dollars? please compare the prices for me buth Xiaomi 14 and the Vivo.
In India the X100 Pro is 90k which is 1086 usd... N the Xiaomi 14 is 70k is 844.5 usd... So the Xiaomi is a good bit cheaper and it comes with the highest storage variant by default

I have a question, is there any chance that you might do a Find X7 Ultra comparison with these phones one day? Or is it that you won't do it because it's China only? I think that phone can be done justice by you and your in depth dives like the camera review you did for the Vivo. Most people just gloss over most of the stuff.
BTW, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra are priced pretty well in India I'd say, I'd say they both make sense and globally they should've been priced like that but the official Europe pricing of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is 1500 euros , 150 euros more than the S24 Ultra which is gonna be even cheaper after a month or so as is typical of Samsung. Then there's the Xiaomi 14 which is 1000 euros, 100 euros more expensive than the Oneplus 12 in the European market officially.
The oppo find x7 ultra didn't launch anywhere except china... N if I try to import it it costs a whole lotta money... Don't really HV the budget at the moment... Wish it launched in India or at the very least in UAE... Then I could atleast buy it for a decent price😂
@@thetechphenomena Trading Shenzhen has some decent pricing and TechTablets uses it. There's also Giztop and Geekwills recommended by Gizmochina and I trust those guys, very unbiased reviews and that makes me trust them so yeah you could give a shot at those if you want. But yeah I agree, importing from China is a daunting task and if you as a tech enthusiast are scared then it's normal that most people won't want to do it lol

Would it be possible to include at least one full resolution 50mp RAW DNG in your next comparisons? I just would like to know what I can work with in terms of detail and resolution, in case I end up purchasing any of these wonderful camera phones 😄 TIA
Btw Xiaomi's demosaicing algorithm to produce the full res jpegs is just not good, they look digitally upscaled from the binned 12mps, same with almost all the Chinese phones. I find the Iphones, Samsungs and the Pixel to do the best job in this regard.
I have oneplus open. Want to buy any of these two, for video recording. Which one will be the better? Who's movie mode works best?
Haven't done the comparison yet... But I checked out the log video profile on the Xiaomi 14 and it works with the main camera... If u want a pro video phone and wanna grade your vids... Then the Xiaomi 14 at the moment seems to be ahead
Would you make a comparison between the regular x100 vs the x100 pro ? Is the regular as good as the pro and what corners is it cutting ? Obviously many people are choosing between the two.

X100 Pro main cam gets a 1 inch Sony IMX989 which is a far superior hardware to any phone on the planet barring Xiaomi 14 Ultra & Oppo Find X7 Ultra!.. So is it surprising at all that it wins with main cam overall always..
My Xiaomi 13 Pro has the same IMX989 that rocks ❤
While doing comparison of xiomi 14 vs OnePlus 12 please use licea vibrant instead of licea authentic because the images come out so much better and they also are so much close to natural which the name doesn't suggest

Whoever decided that the X100 should have the worst ultra wide camera, both narrow and bad, should be fired. Unfortunately, where I live, the S24U costs me less than the Vivo, so I just can't justify getting one.

7A is a decent phone too in terms of camera.
so out of 3 which should I buy : Xiaomi 14 | OnePlus 12 | X100 Pro [ keeping performance/batterylife/thermals ] keeping in mind. Now I lean towards more to Xiaomi, due to Compact and SD8G3 processor. Photo/Video we can say 8/10 if vivo is 9/10.
I would take Xiaomi I mean it can still get Updates cause it's not long on the market. I know atleast that the ultra gets still a update for zoom it's in beta rn. Vivo is longer out and has already all updates. Also if you use pro mode with ultra raw you brings the best out. A photographer says his 14 beats his s24 ultra he bought booth.
i have both right now. xiaomi 14 and x100 pro. i will say take x100 pro. its miles ahead in camera and its super smooth and fast. no thermal issues and battery life is much better than xiaomi 14.

Every single reviewer that compares these two phones makes the same mistake. Point and shot.
The Xiaomi is a toolbox for serious photographers. Ones familiar with it, it takes you three seconds to adjust for the situation at hand.
If quality photos is your goal you will learn your cameras capabilities and quickly apply whats needed to avoid over exposure, white balance problems, wrong skinn tones ect.ect.
The phone is brand new and we can hope that Xiaomi will fix the Software processing for the auto mode point and shot dummies😊
I get what you're saying.... But professionals and serious photographers who wanna spend time perfecting their shots are in the minority... The Xiaomi 14 may be exceptional when the photographer tunes the shot but it fails to nail the basic consistency which is arguably more important for the vast majority of people who might buy this phone
you could have tested Xiaomi in Vibrant mode
