pintabians literally are arabians. of course it’s bred with tobianos but they are strained out so much that it ends up at around 99-100% arabian blood, so it only gets the color. the body doesn’t change. no pure arabian is stocky. it’s also better for sso to use an actually good and polished model considering their new horse models which have been buggy and very unfinished looking. in any case, it would actually be unrealistic to change the model. so if you like the arabian model, these are an amazing addition to the game.
A lot of players in the SSO community favor the Arabians, including me. I think this is a great addition to the game since a lot of other breeds have new coats. Are they releasing too many new coats/horses at once? Definitely.. but you have to admit a lot of the new coats are gorgeous.
SSO needs to work on their 'loud pinto patterns' skills bc so many of these look like they threw a literal bucket of paint onto the horse. There's little to no detail with furring or sticking to a consistent 'pattern'/type. That being said, the ones they did well will definitely be in my home stable eventually, lol (the milky buckskin and the grulla pinto)
Also, big ups to SSO for ALWAYS making their most stunning 'natural' coats and slapping them on the UGLIEST magic coats they can imagine. Like whose "ghost of gay pride appaloosa" idea was that??? And the purple "not quite mardi gras not quite good either" JWH??? Good lord, wtf are the magic horses anymore?
(Sorry I'm commenting so much but hey, engagement) I think my biggest issue with the Lipizzaners is that they don't look powerful. Like you see them (and any horse) launch off the ground in real life and you can feel the amount of work it took to lift that 1,000lbs in the air but with these ones, they feel digital/virtual. Some breeds have had this issue in the past but bc the hind end is so stiff and looks like it's being dragged around by a relatively well-animated front end, it just looks wrong. This is coming from an IRL equestrian who is quite familiar with what a working horse should look like no matter what the breed. These horses just look stiff and unathletic, despite the detail put into giving them a deep abdominal muscling and their overall build. That being said, the horse at a stand still is growing on me. And I quite like the detail that seems to have been added into the bay having some shading across the bridge of the nose. They still need a lot of work, which they apparently won't be getting, which is the most painful part, lmao
Im one of the rodents that think lipizzaners looks good. I'm from slovenia and 60 percent of my 15 years of being alive, I rode this beauties. It might be only that they are my childhood, but i think that they look just like oriental line of lipizzaners. Oriental lipizzaners neck looks a bit short irl cuz its thicker and that makes back look longer as well. But the behind looks sharp when horse moves.
I agree, I love the model, the legs look a slight bit thicker but they don't bother me, the only thing I really have a problem with is the run animation.

Their Model is amazingly beautiful, most people like them a lot. The animations are the big problem, they are just awful. But indeed the Lipizzaner could be stunning, SSO just needs to change some animations

They had better animations already, but as I said, they KNOW we are gonna say it looks bad so they showed a "unfinished" product so that we can't complain

The thing is, even when we give constructive criticism, they ignore it. Last time they asked for opinions on the Friesian horses everyone pointed out the same stuff and guess what? They ignored it, released the horse as they first shown. People have the right to be angry
I've noticed a lot of SSO's horses look good in idle, and once they start to move, that's when the flaws get noticeable. Sometimes the rigging/animations aren't it.
I don't understand how the gaits are finished. The jump landing is so glitched. The legs don't even land correctly. It glitches into the ground and forms back into a gallop wrongly...
my opinion on the Lipizzaners: Legs need to be quicker in the jump as they don't match the torso. The team that makes the horses really need to do some studies on atonomy (Because bones are not made from rubber). And in almost al of the gates the backhand is not underneath the horse enough to make the gate look realistic. (Because of the way they are carry there head) the model looks nice but i don't like the dapple grey altho the rest looks fine. also nice video!!

I like the Lippizaner animations, however, I still think they could have done a better job on the model, mainly the belly. but I'll still be getting it because its very unique.
Makes me wonder if they attached the head on the wrong end. Like the body is backwards. But I do agree like the neck needs to be a bit looser when it gallops. I love the natural coat of the appaloosa but not crazy about the magic coat
Someone rode the flea bitten Lipizzaner today in game and also had that speedbug so nothing legit but it was kinda nice to see how it looks. Couldn’t see much of the movements but they aren’t looking too bad imo in the game x)
I’m in the same boat. I actually quite like the Lipizzaners. Of course like you said, numerous things need to be fixed - but all in all, they’re really nice. I think everyone rushes to critique them when they see spoilers that aren’t CC Creations, myself included. Once I saw CC’s video though, I was honestly impressed. The coats are brilliant and I’m really looking forward to them!
My only wish is that they would have not just placed a pinto coat on the Arabian model but actually mildly adjusted the model. A little less of a dished faced, stronger booty, that sort of stuff.

The Jorvik Wild Horse captured my heart instantly - I love both coats. The dark gray Pintabian is handsome as well. The Lipizzaners are decent looking, but their gaits trigger my OCD. 😬

Just find it hilarious that you said the Appys look like literal donkeys when they came out, but for a Lippizan that is proportionately inaccurate and animated poorly (no, seriously, what is that gallop?) your response is, we work with what we got 🤡

Just wish theyd figure out a universal animation cycle and tweak it from there for the new horses. so the bodies wouldnt be so weirdly contorted like they are on the early Gen 3 horses (Mostly the Thoroughbreds. I'll never get over how they FLAIL when theyre galloping)

At my work there’s a horse that looks literally just like the rose grey lippi, except he has a black mane and tail lol. We also have one that looks like the dark dapple grey (Andalusians man lol)
I was under the impression that pintarabians were more physically different, given that they were produced by crossing other breeds to get the paint coat traits
For once, I have to defend SSO. They did marvellous job with the Lipizzaners. Despite what you say, even the proportions are realistic. The short, collected neck, the elongated upper muscle chain, the muscular hindquarters. You may not like it, but that's the design of this breed's most well trained individuals, like in the Hofreitschule in Vienna.
I really love the silver bay Morgan horse, I hope they’ll release them soon.. probably not for the equestrian festival but I’m keeping my hopes up until I (inevitably) get disappointed lmao

I've always been kind of meh with the lippys, and my opinion really hasn't changed. I also know a lot of people dislike the JWH's normal coat, but personally, I love it. Sure it's a little plain, but it's a nice kind of plain. Definitely love the new Pintabians though - can't wait to get my hands on some of them!
I really disliked the Lipizzaners in the SSO spoilers, but they look better in these videos for some reason and they are growing on me. I think the model is decent for the Lipizzaner, but I do wish their legs and hooves were more slender and the midsection was less chunky. Just these changes would make them look less like draft horses and more like the elegant spanish horses they are. The gaits could use some work, but I think I can live with most of them. The gallop however, looks really weird and stiff which is unfortunate. The special movements are really cool though. Overall, I do think they look more breed-accurate than the gen 3 morgans (which I think looks more like a random pony than a morgan) and the lipizzan's hocks are an improvement compared to the morgan, belgian warmblood and paso fino which is good!
The new Pintabian’s are not good at all,I love the gen 2.I just don’t want another Arabian I was pretty excited for the gen 3,but now it just doesn’t feel like the gen2

I’ve been a little frustrated with the last few horse models. I think they’ve gone a bit backwards following the Arabians and APH’s. The attention to detail just hasn’t been on the same level.
How do they struggle to make Lippies so much, the originals were ａｔｒｏｃｉｏｕｓ and the model of the new ones arnt that bad, they're pretty good, but damn those gaits paste trot just, no :( The special move is really nice tho I'll give em that
Can i be honest? Like the lippiz, i know, they look like a percheron’s and morgan’s baby- But CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE SPECIAL ANIMATION??? They put effort in this! The special animation usually is only a “special” rear or anything- THIS IS DIFFERENTT! But i find the pintabians so lazy and so like- i can’t explain- so “take it” so. Loveless? They could have added so many beautiful coats, but they only slapped on the old ones and added like 2 other ones which are tbh- like a white horse with one black spot. They’re just like “guys we need to bring even more horses out. Make it quick.” 😢
The belly just looks a little to big and and the neck and the head should be a bit bigger. This is just my opinion and for the rest I really like the new Lippizaner ❤

Overall, I do think they look more breed-accurate than the gen 3 morgans (which I think looks more like a random pony than a morgan) and the lipizzan's hocks are an improvement compared to the morgan, belgian warmblood and paso fino which is good!
Lipizzaner special move is my favourite though, that's going be siick!

The new Pintabian’s are not good at all,I love the gen 2.I just don’t want another Arabian I was pretty excited for the gen 3,but now it just doesn’t feel like the gen2
It’s an Arabian though, it just has a pinto coat. It’s the same horse breed so obviously it’s going to look the same.
@@a.90129 exactly like 😭 it’s literally the exact same breed just with like 1% tobiano, so it only effects the color of the horse.

I’ve been a little frustrated with the last few horse models. I think they’ve gone a bit backwards following the Arabians and APH’s. The attention to detail just hasn’t been on the same level.

But CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE SPECIAL ANIMATION??? They put effort in this! The special animation usually is only a “special” rear or anything- THIS IS DIFFERENTT!

They could have added so many beautiful coats, but they only slapped on the old ones and added like 2 other ones which are tbh- like a white horse with one black spot. They’re just like “guys we need to bring even more horses out. Make it quick.” 😢
The belly just looks a little to big and and the neck and the head should be a bit bigger. This is just my opinion and for the rest I really like the new Lippizaner ❤
