Kingfisher County Excise Board Meeting September 18th 2024

EXCISE BOARD MEETS ON SCHOOL SETTLEMENT
The Kingfisher County Excise Board had a meeting this morning, September 18th, to discuss the recently voted outcome of the special school board meeting on September 13th, which reverts the remaining settlement amount of the Mecklenburg vs. Kingfisher Public Schools lawsuit onto the town taxpayers. At this meeting the Excise Board decided to table the agenda item to allow for taxpayers to review the proposed budget for the 2024/2025 school year and to gather more information. The next meeting for the Kingfisher County Excise Board is next Wednesday, September 25th.
