Making a sympathy arrangement for the loss of a mom.

What do you think? Is it too somber?
At my flower shop, we often ask our client if they want their sympathy bouquets or arrangements to be more somber with pastels hues to provide peace and calm, or to be more cheerful with bright colours to help cheer them up.
I can't say one is better than the other for any particular recipient because we don't know them. But, we do care to send the meaning the customer wants to send the recipient.
Sympathy arrangements can be a celebration of a life well lived, so colourful flowers are not an insult to the deceased. Soft pale colours simply help lessen the stimulus around the grieving family.
Whichever is chosen, the family receiving the gift will appreciate the sentiment.
