I remember my cousin worked with Bart, Joe, and Geo to bring them up to Toronto. I was still in high school and these dudes were rockstars to me. Love to see y’all thriving ✌🏻
Just went to an API Culture night at the local college bc my nieces were invited to perform (they're the local Khmer traditional dance crew) and it was so cool to see that all the acts, traditional and modern, were local groups too, including 3 kpop dance cover groups!
i just graduated from ucsd in 22 so like mid covid, but i remember attending an online event where the school booked the streamer boxbox, and i think after i graduated, either this or last year, they brought in streamer/youtuber disguisedtoast
That era of Asian creators realllllly molded who I am and yall did put us on the map ! I was always too young to do any of the cool meetups and shows but if I was able to see any of the creators they named I’d be so starstruck 🤣 but also like I’m seeing family that I haven’t seen in forever . You guys made me proud to be Asian in an era and community where it was weird to be Asian . (I’m from Milwaukee Wisconsin)
True facts about the colleges being more weary of comics! I grew up on yall since 2014. Ended up joining a college dance crew recently right after I graduated since that’s all they had in this city… Then I got kicked out because of some jokes that I made… and I censored myself a lot too :(
Dumb was in Minnesota and one of my homie went to a house party where Dumb was at. He got high with Dumb but Dumb was hella irritated with him because Dumb was trying to shoot his shot with a female and my high homie kept trying to conversant with Dumb 😂😂😂😂
Dumb's in the Hizzouse (house) !; it is like for a film = 1 novelty (in the background, as an extra) Asian actor, who got hired, had filled the slot already; a 2nd person isn't needed. like in a spoof film, of 80's-90's teen sex comedies, called "Not Another Teen Movie," like "Don't Be a Menace (to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood)" or 'Scary Movie (Scream-like)."
Haven't seen dumbfounded in a lil minute. Looking good. I agree, now more than ever there are opportunities left & right for Asians. Of course there could always be more, but im loving the Asian representation

Ryan called it right, "Another essential episode of Careful Boyz". And an outstanding one at that. Thank you, JK crew.
Colleges gotta book Nick so he can do a BJJ seminar and be hilarious
