It was an honor to be texting your Dad during the filmings of American Idol and your Mom walking up to me outside saying hello Marty you've been talking to my Husband at home. They are both fantastic people and you have been in my life 30 percent t of it since the day I saw you live at your audition at The Voice when your family was brought on the stage. I sent your Dad the photo of it from this cellphone and I am so happy for you and proud of how you performed and I know that you taught many on that show how to handle things as the show moved on. This song just needs a break where it catches fire because it's a great song and remember when you said you were bullied growing up? You got the last laugh regarding that and you are lived by millions around the country and I know that everyone who voted for their favorite even if it wasn't you didn't mean they don't love how you sing and act the way you do. yes she’s good but the other two finalist meghan an iam we’re outstanding and unique, we sounds just like Alicia keys , Beyoncé , Mary j like her voice is basic but it’s a power house for sure but Meghan an iam they have that outstanding voice catches your attention it’s UNIQUE .
@@frenchvanillaa Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I disagree. Iam sounds like a young Berle Ives, and although a very nice young man, he was the weakest of all. I don't see the reason for why he is worshipped so highly except for his touching story with his father which tugs at the heart strings, but not the guitar strings. I also think young people today need more healthy icons, no one mentions Iam's health problem. I worry about him and his longevity. Sorry, but it's true.

Now that's a real shame. I think time will tell who out of the top 5 ends up the most successful and I don't think it will be Iam. Each of his songs will sound like the last one. I could be wrong, but we'll have to see. Megan sounds like a wannabe country Janis Joplin, I don't like country music so there's that.
Note: The other talented singer who was robbed was Tyson Venegas, his own song 180 was fantastic. He'll make it on his own...and doesn't need Idol, just like We.
@@d.r.5287 what im trying to say is we is a beautiful singer but we’ve seen it before so many times , iam yes had a touching story but his voice speaks for its self . and there hadn’t been anyone like him on idol in years or in the public eye . but I just feel like that’s why we was disqualified because she wasn’t unique enough how many times have we heard those power songs done before no shade tho I swear she’s an amazing singer ! just from my point of view why I think she was disqualified before iam and Meghan .

I bet it really expanded her fan base. I didn't remember her from The Voice (didn't watch much that season) but I will NEVER forget her now. My favorite performance was the duet with PJeay(sp?). That was so creative, & showed off her acting skills too.
