i am SO proud to be a taylor swift stan since the beginning and through it all. i've never turned my back on her, very proud of always have believed in her.
i’m fine with celebrities speaking out about their personal politics if they choose to do so. i’m a pretty hardcore liberal, but i’m still a fan of many conservative actors, musicians, etc. (not all of them… there are some things that are not negotiable for me) it’s when people surround themselves with others who only think and say the same things they do that we don’t make any progress. to get anywhere we need to be able to have intelligent, insightful conversations. sadly a lot of people can’t do that, so they just yell their opinions as loud as they can without listening to anyone else 😬
I want Taylor on my team every time. She is the only one I know who put her neck out for others. That’s why I respect her.
Todrick Hall started as a youtuber 15 years ago, singing. Then he started auditioning for Glee and American Idol. Then Taylor found him then Rupaul hired him for choreography for his TV show Drag Race. I've been following his journey all these years. I'm 30 btw.

Taylor is more then just her music to us ( all her fans ) she was the first female artist to say what everyone else was to scared to say and what every girl woman needed to be able to feel .... Someone who understands. Understands what we go threw growing up threw Middle school high school breakups makeups boyfriends heartbreaks defining the fairytales we grew up on beliving that that love exists instead getting thrown in a cold hearted world that fairytales aren't real that all we had growing up fairy tales and when we get older its nothing like fairytales and she did that told us hey your not alone i am going threw this to your not a slut for dating so many guys just trying to find your beast your "the one " you are normal nothings wrong with you the world the problem

if we apply your thinking to everyone that yes politics is just so bad, then no one will ever stand up for anyone and it’ll just be like that forever. People shouldn’t be ruling like this is their world but of serving other people and not make it their business or sumn. They make you scared so you don’t speak, fair enough, but not now that many people have opened their eyes too

She’s willing to risk a HUGE backlash to stand up and say “ this is not ok w me and it isn’t acceptable “. To many things in this world are accepted as the norm, and change NEEDS to happen. She has a platform, and she feels an overwhelming need to let people know clearly how she feels. If there was a complete injustice you knew about, would you stay silent?
