It was 1974 that I first heard this song, I was 12 and it was the freest song I ever heard, it was like unabashedly playing in the mud. A radio station called KMET played a lot of Iggy Pop, we moved to Hollywood in late 76, my dad was a musician any play guitar (country music) for a living, so we moved a lot. and I went to a lot of different schools. It was bands like Iggy Pop and the Stooges that got me into the punk scene. From 1976 to 1978 I had completely changed, went from long hair, Levi's and tennis shoes, to pants w/ suspenders, leather boots (Doctor Martens), leather jackets and Mohawks and a thirst for anything antisocial and anti-establishment. I still have that same attitude, that same thirst, I just have a different way of looking at it now.
