Charles Darwin There's literally nothing you can do against tanya. She's too safe, her tele is insanely op, she practically gets a free jump in punch and pressure any time she wants without expending any meter. Her highs and lows are really fast. She's virtually impervious to pressure with that teleport, I'm guessing you either main tanya and are being biased, or you haven't played anyone who plays tanya, the way she was intended to be played. This match is a perfect example that she's OP, no one has destroyed SF like this. In case you forgot MIT got raped 0-5 by SF when mit used scorpion so he has to switch mains to do well and all of a sudden MIT starts raping. Yeah, it's called picking up an OP character. Also she has high and low wakeups, much like sub zero's slide but 10x better, if the low wakeup is blocked she ends up in a distant position where it's really hard to get a full punish. Her high is the same thing.

You have to counter pick with the right character. If MIT played a Kung jin player his tanya would of got whooped. Even a good scorpion player can beat tanya. Sonic chose the wrong characters. Just bc sonicfox didn't know what to do against him doesn't mean you should consider tanya OP. She's still new so ppl are still trying to figure out how to stop her. PS sonic beat Reo's tanya and he's a good player. Not everyone can play tanya like that.
Tanya is still too new and I bet fox doesn't have any exp on the match up. I mean you could it took him awhile to adjust to her string where it was hitting low mid string. Once he figured that out he started to block it but he couldn't figure out how to keep up with her constant teleporting. I'm sure with more lab time, fox will figure her out. If fox knew the match up...it would have been closer or a longer set. This happens..but man that Tanya was still sick..

Tanya isn't overpowered , that's basically her character . She's highly intelligent when it comes to magic , maybe even more than any other character. It's fitting for her to have a copious amount of magic maneuvers in the game. Know your mk.

Spam teleport. Every other teleport in the game is when they come from behind and is easily punishable and obvious. But she can do her from any direction and it's difficult to punish.
MIT Inferno Scorpion couldn't lame Sonic out so had to find a lamer main. Gg

That's true. I play Tanya(dragon naganata) and she is not really op, its just the way u use her plus sometimes I lose to my friends when I play but most the the time win because the strings and pressure I do. But I'm still figuring some things out with her.
The fact that Tanya's so beastly causes te story to make even less sense. 'Cause from what I'm seein', there's no reason for her to take orders from Mileena.
