An good handler for round bales, probably better for square. The handler is more difficult to rotate and grab a bale on its end. Bales cannot be transported from the round side. Be careful taking off the top row of bales off a trailer. If the handler is not curled back when opened, it will pull the bale.

I don't like soft hands as your grabbing the bale where there is the least amount of plastic
