SICK - sick breakdown. Coming from a drummer - this is AWESOME! I love the example on the second track with the room mics vs. bass mics. I could watch this stuff ALL DAY. Cant wait to get my record!
Love this! I could watch this nerdy recording stuff all the time, especially production from Colemine artists. Can't wait to get this record on my turntable and don't forget the donut fingerprints on my preorder!
I just love all the things that you're doing at Colemine. I would love to met Terry Cole one day, maybe he might be in the record store some day if I went to Loveland lol. I hope you guys don't run out of the indie exclusive of this record. Unfortunately I wasn't able to order the green record of this but I'm planning on grabbing it asap. Much love and respect to Terry, in my eyes, he's a legend. AS ALWAYS LOVE YOU COLEMINE
As someone who is so inspired by what you guys and the other soul label families out there are making, this is everything I dream of. Maybe someday soon I will find myself doing just this. Much love.
This is really, really nice. Loved seeing your process for this anticipated record. Sounds incredible. Where are you sourcing your 1/4” blanks? Thank you!
Loved this! Breaking down your recording process; is really inspiring to us music gear nerds. Please make more of these in the future.
More to come! Great to hear!
PLEASE do more of these!!
On it!

Thanks Ryan!

Um, "The Right Now 7/18/15"????????? I remember that they tracked some stuff there. I'd love to hear that some day!
I love this album. So piano is mono ? 😳
Thanks Tom! Technically everyone is recorded in mono, but yes, the piano is only being directly mic'ed with one mic :)
What track is this on the album ? The first one before song for my sisters son
That one is going to be on the next LP :)
TY for the gear porn
