- Join me on an exciting car photography adventure as I put my new Fujifilm X-H2s to the test, capturing the beauty of Mark's Nissan Silvia S15. With the versatile Sigma 18-50 f2.8 lens and the Samyang 12mm f2 wide-angle lens, I set out to create stunning shots of this sleek vehicle.
In this video, I share my experiences and challenges while photographing the S15, discussing the intricacies of shooting a black car and the various techniques I employed to capture its essence. Discover how the Fujifilm X-H2s performed in a real-world car photography setting, particularly its autofocus capabilities and subject tracking.
Your feedback matters, so let me know which photos you liked the most and your thoughts on the Fujifilm X-H2s for car photography.

Also amazing shoot, I shoot on the XH2 ! This gives me a ton of hope since I hadn’t seen many fuji car photographers
There is a FUjifilm Car photographers facebook group, but yes fuji is not as prominent as Canon and Sony in the car photography space. Still great cameras! I have more car photography videos in the works :)
me!
Wow these are actually nice
Thanks! 🙏
great video P! 1k subs really soon 🥳
Hope so!
The photos are really nice. I'm using an x-h2s and I'm new to car shooting. Can you help me adjust my camera settings for car photo?
I generally shoot aperture priority (A on the top dial) so I can decide what f stop I want and the camera adjusts the shutterspeed on its own. For the ISO go somewhere between 160-320 during the day or up to 640 if you are shooting in shade, when it gets darker start bumping it up.
I generally shoot RAW for cars and then edit the photos in lightroom.
A cpl filter is a good idea to cut off some of the reflections on the car
Do you have any recommendations for polarizers ? I’m new to the car photography scene haha
For years I had used a no name 2$ polarizer from AliExpress and it worked fine for me. Now I use a Hoya CPL and its great. Bough it second hand but still new in box for around 20 euros. I would advise checking the used marked for a hoya/nisi/tiffen or getting a K&F concept one. K&F are quite cheap but still decent quality, I own 2 of their VNDs and they are pretty good for how cheap they are.
