Another beautiful Podfic! I did, in fact, have a very chaotic Thanksgiving. Ever seen a 70s dance hall? That was the theme 😅 (Did you know that wild turkeys can fly? Obviously farm-raised one’s can’t, because they’ve had their wings clipped, or were bred that way. But wild turkeys are excellent fliers!) ✨Drink water✨
I actually live with my back yard leading into the woods so we get a LOT of turkeys, among other animals. There is something realllllyyyyy pissing my pants hilarious about watching turkeys fly. They are really uncoordinated so they always crash into trees XD
OH and i have a fun fact for you! Porcupines spend a surprising amount of time up in trees! They're actually surprisingly agile climbers. When im out hiking in the woods I always make sure to look up cuz sometimes I'll find a lil porcupine chillin up there. pretty cool sight ngl :D
@@markloud4810 i mean turkeys are really bad flyers cuz their body isn't really streamlined for flying more than short distances. Plus they don't really fly often besides to roost or to get away from predators as a last resort. they're speedy on land but slow in the air lol. they kinda fly to get out of reach as opposed to out travel the predator, if that makes sense?
@@pizzaratsupremacy Oh! You’re talking about the North American Porcupine right? Their quills are barbed, which makes it even more difficult and painful to remove them than the ones from the African Crested Porcupine 😬
Not gonna lie the whole part with Recovery Girl being the only school nurse for a school were student injuries are more so then expected and being over worked has only made me think of UA potentially gaining a new course... a course dedicated to training students for essentially the medical career. Considering UA has courses that help or go along with the Hero course I'm surprised the one critical in keeping the Heroes healthy and recover safely isn't one of them.
