Dude i was looking for this for ages, literally no one uses premiere pro even though sony vegas is kinda bad, now i finally knoe how to render it properly, thanks a lot!
There is still one problem though, the motionblur isnt the same. Sony Vegas has gaussian blending while Premiere Pro just takes the 3 extra frames and combines them.

hey, so i wanted to see my footage before i render it, if i right click on the footage and click time interpolation, then set it to frame blending like in the video, it seems as if im achieving the same thing, the only thing you will have to do is render the sequence, by clicking on the clip and pressing enter on your keyboard.
Ive always used frame blending... but it really isnt the same as Vegas tho.... Vegas is just wayy too smooth idk why. I love premiere and the smart resample like vegas is the only thing it doesnt have.
hello,I want to ask, every time I rec 240fps in obs,the quality is good, but when I render it on premiere pro,the fps is better but the quality is bad...do you know why and how to solve it?
Heyyo, fellow Premiere editor here. I've been looking into the smooth high framerate motion blur stuff again recently, (I've been editing Premiere for around 2 years now). And I'm finding that the Smart Resample on Sony Vegas produces a much better motion blur than Premiere's Frame Blending. I've run multiple tests, and every single time Vegas just seems to come out on top with better blur. Now will this make me switch back to Vegas, nah, not in the slightest. But I thought I would just come here to let y'all know.
If you're doing pvp gameplay then I do recommend recording in high fps and getting motion blur, if you're doing a survival or smp let's play just record in 60fps without frame blending.
awesome video. I'm trying to edit my clips (I have 240fps gameplay) where I can basically add this feature. However, I noticed that even though I'm playing on 240fps, my clips only capture them in 60fps. I'm clipping using the instant replay feature on Geforce Experience and it seems that 60fps is the max refresh rate for clipping / capturing. How do you clip in 240fps?
You have to record in a high framerate for this to work, so you need a pretty good computer, which can stay above the framerate in game while you're recording. Then again it doesn't have to be 240, it can be any multiple of 60 from 120 on up.
You can't record in 144 Hz. You record in FPS. Your framerate on your monitor doesn't affect the way you record you videos. It's the computer itself that needs to be able to record in such a high FPS. I recommend recording in 60 FPS, 120 FPS (Small motion Blur), 240 (Good motion blur), 360 (Best motion blur)
@@Xen0vox i fixed it, funno how but i did. Maybe mkv helped qnd only 1 audio channel. Or maybe the mic went to the desktop audio in obs so it messed up somehow. Thx for the reply though.

You can use the i and o keys to select a region that includes the transition and then go into sequence settings and render in to out. If the transition itself isn't working then I'd suggest doing it with opacity keyframes on the top clip
