This is one good game. Not a rufflestomp 15-5. Not an op tank on full gold. Not a wheeled tank turning abruptly and firing on the move with titanium body armor. GG.
My assumption on the behaviour of the AMX: He was outta ammo. That's why he didn't shoot and decided to run circles around 'Dave', he couldn't shoot him and thus tried to occupy him, draw his fire for his friends to finish 'Dave' off. Didn't work though.
Actually Jingles.... I'm pretty sure you've featured games where the player takes hits for a low health teammate more recently then before physics. I recall a battle in the last two years where a Chrysler GF protects a KV-2 by blocking shots from an enemy tier 7 or 8 heavy. The KV-2 player goes on to save the Chrysler by killing a medium tank that had totally flanked it. I'm pretty sure it was on the Fjords map.
I hate to pull an "Actually Jingles...", but I do recall you showing a video where a KV-2 (our hero) was shielded by a higher tier tank because he was about to experience some unwanted buttsex. Can't think of the name of the map, but it was definitely well after the physics update.
I guess the circumstances of WOT in the present day kind of normalizes filling half of your ammo load with and shooting only gold until there's essentially no gold ammo left. This says a lot about the current state of the game.
Our Fearless Leader Jingles spent his youth in the Royal Navy honing his skills and becoming a wise old gnome..... scratch that. Becoming a wise old crap gnome with subtle hints of his own moments when he forgets the name of a Map or what he ate for breakfast for all we know his brother could be the Stig the only difference is the Stig is the more competent brother and Jingles is just too old to remember that far back.
Well actually jingles, the last time a teammate blocked damage to protect a friendly was in a death star video who blocked damage for an (then unknown) afk t95.
I often try to shield teammates if I'm able to. The problem is that games these days last for about 3 minutes and usually go 15-3, it just doesn't matter. Nothing you can do to turn the game around.
One of the reasons why I rarely use premium rounds. Because even premium rounds can bounce. Was that in the Saints and sinners video, where it was like yin and yang decided to get on a team in a match of world of tanks, Jingles? Or has it happened later than that as well?
Bounce? Shoot, in some of my tanks they'd need to be able to _hit_ before bouncing. A shitbarn's gold shell is a lot of creds to watch sailing off across the horizon, somewhere just outside the considerable aim circle.
@@vermis8344 Shots going outside of the aiming-circle, is the sad and tragic conditions artillery players have had to face for years now. A worse and worse RNG every single time, that's one fact. Another is, that HE rounds got nerfed few patches ago, I think it was a 10% decrease of damage, because some players in Object 279(e)s, and Cheiftain's were complaining about getting HE-spammed. And as well as I know, the premium rounds of the shitbarn's gold, is HESH... right? High Explosive Squash Head? It was even stated on the website, where those two high end tanks, were mentioned as the reasoning for the HE-changes. -And the HE, has NEVER ..... been a problem up to that point. Funny. Don't you think?
@@mariannejensen349 Haha, I always call the FV4005 my one SPG that's forced to fire directly. It's that inaccurate. Also, yeah, I _think_ the 4005's prem rounds are HESH. That's how little I bother with prem ammo! I usually loaded up plain HE because it was a little cheaper than watching even AP shells miss most of the time, or ping off those thick, sloped turrets and hulls. The tank was difficult enough to use, and when they brought in the HE nerf, well, you can guess how much that improved my time in it.
@@vermis8344 All I know, is that some players, in the top-end of the scale, statistically, called for those changes due to themselves getting spammed with HE, and they found it unfair, apparently. But they didn't see the full effect and consequence of what they asked for. And now, hopefully, some of them, will get bid in their butt, by those consequences. Artillery is still needed in battle. And players should be learning to take into account, when it's in play and use their knowledge on it more when they get battles with it. I miss those times when a good player, was truly "a good player" and not just for show in stats, high end OP tanks, marks on the gun-barrel, and one epic battle after the other, along with all the Ace-tanker badges at line in the garage
Wargambling: "I've altered the deal, pray I don't alter it any further"

My assumption on the behaviour of the AMX: He was outta ammo. That's why he didn't shoot and decided to run circles around 'Dave', he couldn't shoot him and thus tried to occupy him, draw his fire for his friends to finish 'Dave' off. Didn't work though.
i´m surprised that dave hadnt already needed back surgery.... with the amount of carrying he´s doing
Well he did lose all his gold teeth
Actually Jingles....
I'm pretty sure you've featured games where the player takes hits for a low health teammate more recently then before physics. I recall a battle in the last two years where a Chrysler GF protects a KV-2 by blocking shots from an enemy tier 7 or 8 heavy. The KV-2 player goes on to save the Chrysler by killing a medium tank that had totally flanked it. I'm pretty sure it was on the Fjords map.
One of these days Jingles will encounter a replay with no less than four people actually named "Dave" in the match lol
Thanks Jingles.
I really miss playing this game. Bombing and or derping around in my tanks. Hopefully when I get some more proper employment, soon, hopefully.
Great replay. Thank you for the video. 👍
I think that AMX 13 75 was out of ammo and therefore he was not able to fire at "Dave".
Woohoo!our mighty overlord has uploaded!
Great replay and great game. WP 'Dave' .
Excellent!
As Old Man Jones would say, he's a goodun.
There was a video (I don’t remember which) where a tank took a hit for a kv2
Well actually jingles, the last time a teammate blocked damage to protect a friendly was in a death star video who blocked damage for an (then unknown) afk t95.
At last, something other than that damn fight sim.
Its standard practice in AW. There you have to collect blueprints from lootboxes
You should make a playlist "The Legend of Dave". would be quite worth the watch.
I often try to shield teammates if I'm able to. The problem is that games these days last for about 3 minutes and usually go 15-3, it just doesn't matter. Nothing you can do to turn the game around.
also ... a shoutout to the SU-14-2 suporting and helping him in chat =) its nice to see nice people still exists in WOT
Supper Dave rides again!
Ahh, uploading at usual times. 3:21 am, central Missouri time. Never change.
9:21 in the UK, which I believe is where the Jingle lord in from
Sleep is for the weak. I, for one, am watching this in 11.25, East European time in Finland.
