@@tvojemanka That's not true, the lower you have to kick the more power you can exert, just think of how hard you could stomp the floor/kick a soccer ball vs how hard a person could kick something that's 6 feet in the air.
@@5dollarshake263 any spinning kick will have a higher force than any soccer kick, i just don't think it's that much of a difference to not have it in the sport, they took it out only for the ufc to be more marketable to broader audience, there's no science behind it, because the grounded knees and soccer kicks arent really more dangerous than normal techniques that are used in the UFC all the time

holy shit.. never saw that fight with Shogun and Rampage.. That's as close to a dirty street fight ive seen in awhile. Those last couple of knees to the face and body.. then like 3 soccer kicks to the orbital. Brutal. Rampage is a G.. took it and stood strong. hell ya!
Shogun broke Rampage's rib early with a knee. He was basically a punching bag for most of the fight.

I just started watching ufc in 2020 religiously but they need to bring back pride rules

To be fair, some of the rules implemented later are good. Nutshots used to be allowed.
But there arebrules like the no 12-6 elbows, no piledrivers, no knees to a downed opponent, and no soccer kicks which I find really useful in fighting. If you're in a position that you can do 12-6, that means you're already winning. Piledrivers should be good in defending double leg takedowns. Knees to a downed opponent is the same as kneeing a standing opponent. Soccer kicks is just a faster way to end a fight instead of trying to go for hammer fists.
If you want a rule set more like Pride, you’ll want to watch ONE FC. They allow knees to the head of a downed opponent. There may be a few other rule differences (no weight cutting; fighters required to take hydration tests, and no drug/PED testing)

That's already big enough right there that people would've discussed conspiracy theories. The reason people didn't tho was becuase essentially all of them weren't as emotionally invested in the way they were for Jake Paul to lose. That is the real reason people claimed tyron took a dive. They never would've if the same KO happened in a regular fight

They're not really that bizarre, its just what the UFC would look like if they weren't pussified and Disneyfied. There's no reason ground strikes should be illegal. It would make fights more exciting if you could be kicked/kneed when down because guys couldnt stall in downed positions. MMA is supposed to simulate a real fight, you can't take a knee in a real fight and have a little timeout, but you can in the UFC.
