Only 1 in 2 LGBTQIA+ people feel accepted by their parents. This is a statistic that we need to change. OLAY believes every skin is beautiful regardless of gender or colour, and proudly supports the LGBTQIA+ community. Together with Maria Thattil and @SydneyMardiGras, we aim to amplify the voices of our community through Maria’s personal journey of family acceptance and support young LGBTQIA+ Australians to fear less and love the skin they are in.
For the 3rd year, as a proud partner of @SydneyMardiGras, and @SydneyWorldPride, Olay has been a proud supporter of Minus 18, helping to maintain free resources online that reach up to 1 million per year to encourage LGBTQI+ youths to be fearless and to glow up our own way. Olay has partnered with Minus18 on various initiatives including Sydney Queer Formal 2021 & 2022, Trans Awareness Week 2021, Adelaide Queer Formal 2021 and IDAHOBIT 2022.
