The different between mugen train movie and mugen train arc are just that, the arc series one expand a little bit more of movie in the beginning, the rest are pretty much the same. You can just watch first episode of the arc before or after the movie. Or you can just watch the mugen train arc instead of the movie and you won't miss anything ❤

The movie is called “Mugen Train” (Mugen Ressha 無限列車). “Mugen” means “infinite” or “infinity.” “Mugen” (as in 夢幻) is also a pun related the demon’s blood demon art. I will not spoil the meaning, but if you really want to know, you can also click on “translate” on the kanji. ^_^

I recommend you NOT watch Season 2 first episode… though it’s a prequel to the movie, it was made AFTER the movie and was a UFOTABLE original (and thus has some discrepancies). If you watch that episode first, it will lessen the impact of the movie. Also, you’ll not understand the emotional impact of the first episode because it’s the movie that makes you have the feels when you watch that first episode.
