We'll never forget you, but should we forget you Then let our eyes forget that they have seen the day, old friend And let our ear not hear sweet children at their play, old friend And let our lips forget that they have learned to pray, old friend If we foresake you, if we foresake you We'll never forget you, but should we forget you Then may we ever know the bitter, not the sweet, old friend And may we never find a friendly hand to greet, old friend And let this foresaken heart forget that it must do, old friend If we forget, if we forget you Let this foresaken heart forget that it must beat, old friend (friend) If we forget (if we forget) If we forget (if we forget) You

This was part of a longer short designed to solicit donations for the Will Rogers Memorial Fund in theaters. When the short ended, the house lights went up, and the ushers passed canisters around to the audience, asking for whatever they could give to the Fund. That money helped sustain the Will Rogers Institute in White Plains, New York. Today, it's the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation.
She’s so lovely ❤️🌸🌸
That voice.
What a delightful lassie our Judy is here
We'll never forget you, but should we forget you
Then let our eyes forget that they have seen the day, old friend
And let our ear not hear sweet children at their play, old friend
And let our lips forget that they have learned to pray, old friend
If we foresake you, if we foresake you
We'll never forget you, but should we forget you
Then may we ever know the bitter, not the sweet, old friend
And may we never find a friendly hand to greet, old friend
And let this foresaken heart forget that it must do, old friend
If we forget, if we forget you
Let this foresaken heart forget that it must beat, old friend (friend)
If we forget (if we forget)
If we forget (if we forget)
You

How great that you found this, as the studio only had a 3/4” dub of an ancient film transfer.
