I'm making a yukata according to your instructions, and now I find I have to make a telescoping hanger, too. :-) My oh so western washing machine does not have a Stylish setting, I will have to use Delicates instead. It is the setting used for wool so should work. Thank you!

I always use hand washing technique. Haha.. really enjoyed handwashing. It feels like old days ☺️. Sometimes when i lazy, i use washing machine 😂. Silk kimono need to 洗い張り。 I was washing a an antique meisen ladies kimono. Suddenly, it's bleeding alot! 怖い〜〜！After that i removed it quickly before it turns disaster. But the color is fade little bit. It is purple kimono, the 袷 is red & pink. The color bleed alot. It spread little bit to the design color. I should do dry cleaning.
