One of our favourite places on earth. Love the natural way you have captured everybody going about their daily business. Great sharp picture, what camera have you used?
Thank you for watching! I used a dinky little camera called an Osmo Pocket 2. It is so small, but has fantastic stabilisation and picture quality!
@@CUThereVirtualTravel wow, did not expect it to be Osmo. But again, Pocket / Osmo 2 are the ones on my shopping list as alternatives to GoPro range.
@@CUThereVirtualTravel thanks for letting me know. I have a GoPro but I think your camera tops mine for picture quality
In hospital, just what I needed for recovery big THANK-YOU.
Oh, no! I'm sorry to hear that you are in hospital! I hope you recover well and quickly! Best wishes!
We go down 3 or 4 times year ,we stay in the sloop or the apartments you walk past at 36.40 …The most beautiful place in the word on a sunny day ..And still beautiful on a bad weather day 👍🏼
I've seen many SI vids of varying quality...I took a few myself, as a SI resident, with the first of the video cameras in the early 1980's .....this is one of the best. There's something gentle about it...no jumping, no jerking and best of all, no inane yammering by the holder....a great job, beautifully done.
The quality and stability are superb, a credit to the evolution of the video camera since the 198o's!......10/10 for C U There!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! There is no doubt that the camera I used to film this video has a lot to do with the end product! Also, it was such a lovely day in St Ives - beautiful weather, lots of people out enjoying the sunshine and of course, the town itself is so scenic, it is a joy to be there and film it!
@@CUThereVirtualTravel The camera I used in 1982 was a cumbersome JVC pistol grip....but wait!.......the pistol grip camera didn't record!.A cable went down to a portable VHS record/player hanging around yer neck! Hard to believe now but that weighty combination was the last word then in video portability!
Best video of St Ives ive seen, and no annoying meaningless music.
Beautiful weather 🌞🌞🌞
Oh, yes! It was beautiful weather! Hopefully it returns in August!
What a super picture, Sharp and life like. Thanks!
Glad you like it! Thank you for watching!
Beautiful place Cornwall I really like to go back there..
Great video. This is a beautiful place. Thank you for showing.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
so beautiful 🥰 i was there 6 days ago wish i was back in Cornwall
Thank you for watching!
This place is beautiful. Britain is a lovely country. The isle of Skye is nice to.
Great video, this Brit is happy to confirm that our beaches always look this good, we only pretend it rains to keep them from getting too crowded😉
Thank you for watching!
St Ives in July it is very likely to be ☀️ Much more likely than rain.
Stunning
Thank you! Cheers!
We had honour to visit the place again from sunday (next day) to monday. Absolutely stunning place. Big ups for Carbis Bay!
Thank you for watching and supporting my channel! I'm glad you enjoyed your time in St Ives!
Wonderful video. I havnt , been back to cornwall since covid started. Not sure when i'll get back,,, love this train trip. Thank you for posting,,, and on such a sunny day filming aswell. Top video. My knees are green with envy,,,, but next year,,, fingers crossed. " ONE AND ALL ".
Thank you! I'm hoping that when you get to visit Cornwall you enjoy your time spent there and that the sun shines on you too!
It’s a lovely place, there’s just too many others loving it as well. You can’t have it to yourself in high season.
I loved this...It looks like a great place to visit. My only gripe is the cars....GET RID OF THEM...The place would be so much better, and safer. Can't believe the local council allow them in those narrow streets, and driving on the pavement with people milling about.
Going there in 3 days zoo excited 😀😀😀
I hope you have a brilliant time!
Tranquil, divine and definitely worth a visit!!! White sand in England??? I never knew this. Thank you for sharing the beach, warmth and sunshine.
Thank you for watching Caroline Kelly!
Lovely place 🙏
Yes, it is! St Ives is very special! Thanks for watching :)
We were there in July again!
We’ve been going for 40 years
Best resort ever
It's not a resort.
A place that is frequented for holidays or recreation or for a particular purpose.
"a seaside resort".
@@robfielding100" A resort is a self-contained commercial establishment that tries to provide most of a vacationer's wants, such as food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment, and shopping, on the premises. "
@@morvoren1358 I had no idea I was corresponding with Samuel Johnson!
@@robfielding100 to be fair you started with the definitions
Damn - Water quality of Porthmeor Beach looks like you would be in the Caribbian
Beauuuuuuuuutiful
Thank you! I am so glad that I made the effort (although, let's face it, it doesn't take that much effort) to go that day! The beaches, especially Porthmeor, were incredible!
Breathtaking @CUthere ❤
Thank you! Porthmeor was so amazing that day! I couldn't believe the colour of the water!
Wish l was there
Good place to stay Padstow and Tintagel are both close Recommend StIves
Just booked a holiday there for 4 days in August cant wait man, hopefully the weather is as good as it was fo you! any tips on must do things ?
Hi! Thanks for watching! You could do the walk from St Ives to Carbis Bay. It doesn't take long (around 30 min) and you could always get the train back! Also Hayle is very close and the beach is worth a visit! I hope you have a great time and maybe check out my videos on Hayle Towans (beach) ua-cam.com/video/NfeU7HMLfvQ/v-deo.html and the walk from Carbis Bay to St Ives (ua-cam.com/video/m_v-LToa0yY/v-deo.html).
@@CUThereVirtualTravel will do cheers mate
@@mahirasif8236 No problem! Have a great time!
I would like to go there this august
Hopefully the heatwave predicted for the second half of August by the Met Office brings good weather if you do!
What day was this filmed?
Hi Georgia Saskia, it was filmed on Saturday 17th July. I think the temperature that day was about 23°C. Perfect beach weather!
@@CUThereVirtualTravel ah thank you! I was there on Friday, It was lovely!
Beware of the Robbing Seagulls my wife’s ice cream never hit the floor it was gone in seconds after a gull attack.
Don’t take your car to St Ives as can find no parking spaces. Use this park and ride by train from St Erth.
Absolutely! Great advice!
yup good idea also tourists need to realise forestreet and infact all the cobbled streets and none cobbled streets in town are roads lol they always seem suprised to see a car behind them when they are in middle of the road lol
Best advice.
