Nobody in women's college basketball plays like Hannah Hidalgo plays w determination, grit, happiness, and makes her teammates play the same as she does in the nation, FRFR
Its one thing to be the WBB POTY, but its another thing for the mostly white voters to pick her over Bueckers. ESPN and the media that covers the game immediately anointed Bueckers as the player to promote after Caitlin Clark departed last year. Hildago can have a better year, even beat Bueckers head-to-head, but the majority of the POTY voters will go out of their way to make excuses and give it to Bueckers. Its more likely Hildago gets cheated than receives a fair objective voting. Unfortunately, that's the reality of the woman's game in the wake of Clark
Been a ND fan since SkyDigg4 days so it was cool to see her back with 2 other superstars. Hannah reminds me of sky. Miles looked pretty stiff even before the ankle injury. Hope she uses gameready machines at home too. Yoga poses to help stretch limbs and prevent sprains. Gonstead chiropractor visits....Take advantage of being a d1 athlete and the program you attend.
Your right I'm assuming only because King was destroying them with elbow jumpers as well. ND has amazing drivers to the basket I guess a 2-3 was risky.
refs really got picky and even wrong. That last travel...watched it 3 times in slow motion...not a travel at all...and he called it with time running out. Dude needs to get the whistle out of his mouth.
Hey Geno looks like all the weaknesses you mentioned about Catlin Clark are the weaknesses of Page. Your team is full of players with no attitude they all play like they would prefer to be somewhere else. KK still cant shoot, Fudd is made of glass, you have a big who plays small, and Ice in the words of AS, is as coordinated as a baby giraffe. Page had 24 but not when it counted, your defense departed with the little guard who ended up in Seattle. Strong should go into the the portal and not waste her talent.
Whoa...Thats a little hardcore. Comical but brutal. I thought it was hard fought game on the opponents homecourt. Hidalgo really is something else though. Looking forward to see how my heels women's superb defense does against them in conference play. ND's freshman center is underrated as well. She has been great as I only seen her being neutralized once in the four games I watched and that happened to be the leading shot blocker in women's college basketball (TCU). One of the best freshmen in the country second only to someone like Strong. Paige played well, still one of my faves but I'm leaning with Hidalgo for POTY too,
Notre Dame is just amazing. King, the all-around player the best addition to the Team.

Hannah will be the WBB POTY for 2024-25

Don't understand why Geno didn't have the defense cheat more to the corners... ND smashed them with threes, mostly from the corners.
