@Channy Whocares i actually teared up reading your reply. isnt it sad he has been cheering up for us so that we can get thru with our life, but them (esp. leeteuk) didnt have anyways to cheer themselves up. i genuinely hope there will be some kind of miracle that they will find someone to comfort themselves. i agreed with everything u said. i personally think siwon, shindong, kyu, wook, hyuk, hae, sungmin, n even kangin seems like they know how to cope with their lives. heechul seems like adapting well these days. he is sharing his daily lives with us on youtube n thats actually good ways to show his trueself. yesung seems like easily affected with fans feedback n i hope he will realise nothing more important in this life other than himself. teuk on the other side showed multiple sign of depression n the fact hes having the toughest life compare to others is really worrisome. i hope he will open himself up n if theres anyone from suju that i really hope to get married n live happily ever after, it will be leeteuk tho my bias is actually hyuk coz teuk have been thru a lot so now he deserved to be happy at least isnt it? He's been through a lot. Losing his grandparents in a murder-suicide by his father, having several members leave, his father leaving him with debt. No one should go through the things he's been through. He hides it behind his smile. That's not healthy.
I'm actually really worried of Leeteuk. The other members has their own friends and the members that are close to each other are only Donghae and Eunhyuk. The rest of the members have their own friends but as for Leeteuk, he doesn't have much close friends which he could tell everything to. In fact, he doesn't really tell anyone his problems which the members have mentioned it before :c The members keep saying that he is an attention seeker which makes him more self conscious about voicing out his problems and opinions. He is and still is in the verge of depression and the constant stress with no one to lean on is making me really worried about him :/ I know the feeling of looking for someone to be closed to and to lean on but have been searching far and wide with unsuccessful results.. They should really have heart to heart talk with him more. Stay strong oppa :c

@Noor Aly I think issues with his family and being in front of the camera is the worst for him. We dont know anything about his personal life of course but seeing how he treats his physical look and how he behave in front of tv always made me curious about his state of mind. And his story about his father the most tragic one I have ever heard in kpop history. I hope he find peace.

When Heechul said "Everyone treat Leeteuk well", i cry. Ive seen a lot of vids abt leeteuk's struggle, and as what i see, Heechul was the only (?) person who understand teukie. Leeteuk serves as the leader to his members, a brother to his younger fellows... not only to his group but as well as to other people such as his hoobaes and other co-workers... He's the foundation to lean on of everyone.. but as those leaning onto him gets heavier and heavier, the foundation may get weaker and soonmight be collapsing. So it also needs another foundation to support it and thats heechul. Whenevee leeteuk takes the burden of everyone and everything... Heechul silently stands in his back. Only heechul understand the deep meaning of it... and i think it started with the incident in incheon... He said, started that day, he realize that he is tge person who needs to stand beside leeteuk no matter what... He needs to understand him more and take care of him bcs heechul knew that Leeteuk doesnt have a lot of friends.. and not everyone could undertand him

I think heechul said that after that incheon incident, it made them closer and he would always side with leeteuk no matter what happens. If other members disrespect teukkie, heechul would scold them.

for those who don't know the hardships leeteuk faced, i don't remember everything, but i remember the most hardest thing leeteuk had went through. when he was in military (i forgot the year), his father, i don't remember why, murdered leeteuk's grandparents (i don't remember which side) and then later killed himself, which automatically makes it a murder-suicide case. leeteuk's father wasn't exactly a great father figure. he used to beat leeteuk a lot and it got so bad that he o n l y felt fear toward his father. but of course, even through all of that, he is still teuk's father, and it was very painful for teuk when he murdered his grandparents and then murdered himself. if you're wondering where leeteuk's mother is, they've been divorced since leeteuk was 5. that's also a very sad part in leeteuk's life. his parents divorced in bad circumstances, and 5 year old leeteuk couldn't understand why they were separating. but whenever they fought, teuk would be receiving punishments.

I am so glad that Heechul insisted on going to this therapy session. Heechul knew how stressed leeteuk is/was and wants him to speak up about it. But because they are awkard he couldn't do it himself so he arranged a therapy session for Leeteuk. Seriously so sweet. My only hope is that Heechul also speaks up about the things that are bothering him. Because after the passing of Sulli I am really worried about Heechul too. Because he lost a really good friend.

This Psychological Test is called House Tree Person. It only determines a person's state of mind at that particular time when the test is taken and is concluded based on a lot of inferences. When we write the report also we always do it using words like "the client is likely to...." "appears to be etc" which means it's not a 100% definite. Maybe an hour later if you take the same test the inferences can be completely different. So as Counselors we often hand out a more concrete set of reliable tests first and only use the House Tree Person Test as supportive evidence. So please dont worry about Super Junior so much based on these results. Maybe that particular day Lee Teuk was packed with a tight schedule or maybe he wanted to show his artistic or imaginative capabilities which can be miss inferred in evaluating this test. HTP is not a very scientific reliable test...its only useful to detect cases where clients display extreme abnormalities like drawing headless human figures etc.

Not really, I get what you are saying but this test and the show was made after his family tragedy, so this was like a scream of help from the members and the agency to help him overcome it and feel the love and support of all, which actually helped a lot, he could cry and see from a profesional a clearer picture of the state of mind he was facing, but most important, after this show he received a lot of support from fans and especially he could communicate to the members not only his words or thoughts but they had the time to share their feelings and open up ❤ currently he is getting better and I'm sure time and prayers will heal his open scars... fighting!
Actually, the reason they went to the councelor was because leeteuk was under a lot of stressed in the first place. If you watch the episode, heechul knew leeteuk was stressing out and forced him to go seek therapy.
HTP findings have a high correlation with other test findings so it should be interpreted with more concrete test results, not as a standalone
Okay. Let's break this down for new fans of SuJu or fans who just want to know a little more about Leeteuk. His father used to beat him, to the point that he only ever felt fear towarss him. His parents were in a very unhappy marriage and finaly divorced when he was about 11 years old. When he was a trainee, someone told him that as an entertainer, he had to be happy all the time. That the public didn't want to see his problems and wouldn't really care anyway. When he was chosen as the leader of SuJu, he was told that the actions of his members reflected on him and his ability to show leadership. Everything that went wrong on stage or off stage, he was blamed for it. When Heechul was chosen to be on variety shows, their friendship suffered. SuJu's manager at the time (he was later replaced) told Leeteuk that he cannot allow Heechul to overshadow him during the shows. During this, the other members also complained that Heecul was receiving all the spotlight and he had to be a mediator to their anger. Then, while in the army his father kills both of his grandparents and then himself. He left a suicide note that adressed Leeteuk directly; saying "Do you think you got here all on your own?" Basically saying that Leeteuk had not talent and was only famous because he was in SuJu. Now, his father was looking after his parents who were both very ill, and his business was failing. He was about 2 weeks from filling for bankruptcy when he committed the crime. Leeteuk, as the eldest son, inherited hos fathers debt. Now, he didn't have to. He could have renounced his family and loved debt free. But the debt would have gone to his older sister, and being the person that he is, he did not want her to shoulder the burden. He has worked tirelessly, taking all the jobs available to him to pay off tje debt. Oh! And while he wad promoting with SuJu, he and 3 other members were involved in a very serious car accident. One member almost died at the scene, and Leeteuk had glass shards embedded in his back and above his eyes. While bleeding profusely, he told the paramedics to go to the other member who was seriously injured.

Really very thankful to Heechul who suggested to go here. He may be louder, always joking and has the most awkward relationship with Teukie onscreen but he really takes into details and understands Teukie the most than other members (maybe cause they are of the same age). With the test Leeteuk himself was so surprised with how true it was and without his intention his problems were there for everyone to see. You have been a very strong person being the leader and handling these notorious kids all these years and with Suju together it brings happpiness to millions of elfs around. We elfs love you our angel Teukie so please never give up❤❤

This made me cry knowing that Teukkie is having a hard time coping with the stress and hard times. My heart feels so heavy right now and I just want to talk to him badly.
Honestly I'm not surprised by teuk's drawings at all. He went through somethings which many of us could only imagine in our worst nightmares. Its obvious for him to be in this situation. What's more sad is that he is in such a position he cannot talk about this openly.
Tbh, I see many comments complaining about this being done on camera and yes it might be uncomfortable for him... but It was Heechul who got him here saying he wanted counselling for himself, and I respect his decision so much. I don't know much about Suju as I've just started to learn about them but in most of what I've seen Leeteuk has always shown a bright side of himself. A flawless side. And that is all for us as he was taught that an entertainer should be happy and bright like that. What Heechul did here is a way of saying "now that you've shown everyone what you're really feeling, you don't need to keep pretending you're okay anymore!! There is no coming back!! Just let it go, because it is okay not to be okay." And honestly I don't think this being done on camera is to gain the viewer's affection or whatever most people think. Is simply done for Teuk to start opening up, and is the best thing someone has ever done for him.
The way heechul was like no unbrella no stress, then the therapist was like no- the rain is stress- aghhhhhh comedic timing in a serious situation is so suju gah

잠시 일시정지 하고 나무도 생각으로 그려봤는데요. 푸른 침엽수 몇그루를 제 나이 비슷하게 저랑 가까이에 있는 것처럼,집근처(?)에 있는 느낌으로다가 그렸는데 오, 정상이네요.

No doubt Heechul is always unique person and he didn't hide it. As a Petal ELF myself, i knew abt his uniqueness. As for Leeteuk, i feel sad for him, uri leader going thru so much in his life since teenager till now.. i hope he receives and feel loved from his members, friends, and netizen. He not attention seeker because he want to but because he needs to, he want someone to notice his hardship, understand him and care for him. Love both the hyungs, Heechul and Leeteuk
Leeteuk definitely doesn't know how to deal with his stress. He just keeps working and working until he's on the verge of collapsing. The way he smiled and admitted that he's an attention seeker made my heart hurt. He was laughing at himself meanwhile Heechul was looking really worried for him. I hope people will take care of him more.

3) Teukie needs to rely more on the members and give faith a chance... he has gone through a lot and even it sounds a cliche, God helps as the leaning person he is deseperatly looking for... his family is gone, the job is something superficial and time runner, and the members who are his true family still dependens from him, emotionaly and as role model...even they say it's fine and he can cry or rest, being the oldest always come with a huge responsability indeed by nature... it's just as being the first child in a family, even parents rely on you to strenght them...
