Loved the footage and really appreciated it, though not so keen you named spots. Love travelling surfers, I'm often one of them. But it's not fair to us NE surfers to hand spots away on a platter. We have great waves but inconsistent swell, already difficult to catch at it's best without the crowd a great swell brings.
Mate youre wasting your breath the guys a 🔔🔚 he doesnt surf and is spitefhl to those of us that do, he doesnt need to name spots he does it cos hes a *****
Loved it, great editing etc. . I've lived and surfed on Maui Hawaii for 35 years. I hope to tour that area someday, I'm told my family was from Richman in Yorkshire. Thanks for posting. Aloha
Loved that. I absolutely Love this section of coastline. Now and again I have a little surf at a somewhat beginner level and have mad respect for the skill and fitness of the surfers you've shown.
Ive got to admit a huge respect for their fitness levels and knowledge of. the coast and the rips and where to get in and out without being smashed to bits on the rocks. Full marks to them.
Thankyou DR I worked hard on the sound. Im starting to realise how important it is to setting the scene. I aim to collect more sound in the coming year.
Absolutely bang out of order naming and shaming some of these spots Glenn you should no better if your a surfer !! Yes we know some of them are no longer a secret but actually writing the name in the title is just advertising some of locations waves more which means more crowds more kooks and more accidents in the water / pressure on the parking at one spot in particular ! Would of been so much better just calling it east coast surfing or something - im sure im speaking on behalf of a lot of the local crew who have spent lifetimes surfing these spots !! ;-(
That was my intention. Sadly we have people like you who think they own our coastline. The news is “You don’t”. The coast is for everyone and the more I see bullzit like yours the more I feel inclined to make many more such videos.
@@thewhitbyphotographer Trust me Glenn i dont think i own the coastline and i love seeing people enjoying it children familys etc I have lived on the coast for many years my family history has all been on this coast around the Whitby area etc ! what you are not understanding is some of the people from out of area who come and trash it leave rubbish when they see and know were some of these sacred surf spots are !! You obviously dont surf !! And you most certainly dont have a drone license with lots of illegal shots in this footage ? Crack on mate but have some respect for the surfers.
@@thewhitbyphotographer I am not from there and never surfed there and agree that you should not name these spots. People who want to seek it out will find it.
Thanks so much Faye, that's really kind. Ive been enjoying the last week or so capturing the moorland heather, which as Im sure you know, is spectacular this year despite the drought.

Well said, though good job none of these spots are any good for surfing.
This comment is bang on - Video would lose absolutely nothing by taking those locations out. Cardinal sin of surf photography /video!
The sea Is for every one not just you and anyone can find spots on google earth these days anyway 😂😊
@@ianboucher7681 good one for taking the time to understand the issue there. Well done.
Please remove the location tags

Amazing. I've shared it with my lad in Australia
Thankyou Tracey, hope you are both well, and the happenings of East Yorkshire Car Parks well in hand.

Absolutely magnificent video and music
Fab video Glenn really enjoyed it 👌 like I always say, we are very lucky to have you capturing our little corner of the world 🥰🌍

Lot's of mush and wishful thinking but fun anyway th'nooose. Peace from PZ Cornwall.
No shortage of reefs.
Big kelp beds at staithes
Lots of kelp for sure, although I think its all dead at the moment. Likely caused by the dredging in The Tees.
Staithes ❤
